I actually did not take the time to see that this was not just Spanish rice, but had pasta mixed in. The overall flavor wasn't bad, it was pretty decent, but had a little too much tomato flavor and was a little too salty for my liking. I had thought this was just a Spanish rice side, not rice with pasta mix in. The pasta made it seem too much like Italian food, which is not really pleasant when you're trying to make a taco rice salad. Just the texture threw me off. But like I said, that was my fault for not looking at the package. I'll have to find a different brand of instant Spanish rice to suit my needs for those evenings I don't have time to make from scratch.

I love my rice a certain way and it came out just the way I liked it! Delicious!! No fail recipe. Makes two servings. Priced very reasonably, as well.

I enjoyed the taste of Knorr Spanish Rice because the flavors of the green pepper and the sweet tomato stand out. I used it as a topping when we had taco night to add onto the burrito/burrito bowl but you could eat it as a side with baked chicken or even stuffed in a bell pepper would be good with some cheese or in a chili. It packs a lot of flavor and cooked in 12 minutes.
