The lamp itself was pretty but instead of receiving the rechargeable model I was sent the standard plug in type so I had to return it. The description read “rechargeable with USB port” but it wasn’t that item.

The USB Port on the Knowles Hyacinth Table Lamp is used to charge your devices, like your phone or other electrical appliances. The USB is not used to charge the lamp itself. The lamp must be plugged in to turn on and off. Thank you for your review.
