Power the unit on. Go to Settings. You may first need to press the Home button depending on what was being done on the device last. PS: This may not work on an older Device. This scanner is great and can be hooked up to the computer. I've scanned 35mm and 110 film with it and the results are great considering my negatives are very old. The only downfall is if the negative isn't perfectly straight and flat, you have to take the tray out and reset the negative. I wish it had an autofeed feature opposed to pushing the negative through manually. Also, if the negative for 35mm and 110 is less than 4 pictures, you have to repeatedly take the tray out, adjust the negative to the photo you want, then reinsert the tray to scan. It is a tad time consuming if your have a lot of negatives.
