This deli meat tastes so darn good. It's not salty, chewy, or overpowering with garlic. It's fresh tasting and fresh looking. It doesn't have any weird smells or textures. I find that I don't have to use additional flavors to spruce up my deli sandwiches. If you're one to only use a condiment and bread, you're good to go with this meat. I mostly only shop at Target for our deli meats and cheeses. Target does a great job with ensuring the pre-cut and safely sealed deli meats and cheeses are not outdated or under-refriderated (if that's a word, lol). Anyway, every time we buy it it does not disappoint.

In reading comments about falling apart, I have no problem with this knowing it’s less processed than most brands. Simply pile it into a sandwich or break it up further into a salad!! This Garlic Herb flavor is so delicious, prep and presentation is not a concern!
It alway crumbles apart. Flavor was good.

It won’t hold its shape. Arrows on the package tell you which direction it should be cut. We have tried it both ways. 90% of the time it will never stay in a slice. It just falls apart. The flavor is nice.

Thank you for your review although I'm sorry the slices are not holding their shape. The Kretschmar Off the Bone Chicken Breast is a premium deli meat that we make with whole breast meat only. The whole breast meat is kept to its full integrity of the muscle and hand packed into the mold when cooking. We use no fillers and as little binding as possible. When sliced on the deli slicer, if shaved at a more thin setting (1 or below), the meat more easily falls apart. Having your local deli retailer slice the Kretschmar Off the Bone Chicken Breast a bit thicker will aid in keeping slices together; we recommend using a setting of 2 to 3. Ask to see a sample slice first before the rest of the request is made. Thank you for choosing Kretschmar!

This meat is addictive! I buy 3 to 4 pounds at a time at our deli and freeze it til I need it. It freezes and thaws wonderfully. It is the best lunchmeat I've ever tasted.
