Q: Does Kristin Ess Signature Hair Gloss have a strong smell? I'm sensitive to fragrance.
A: No, it was not bad at all. I used it and then went to bed and I did not wake up all night to a WEIRD smell as I would when I used hair dye. there is, of course a smell while you are using it, while it is on your head, but it is not "fumey" and not horrible. You are instructed to wash your hair after rinsing the product out, so that may be why the lingering smell was not strong or bad.
submitted byCanyon Gal - 5 years agoA: Thanks for your question! The Signature Hair Glosses do not have any added fragrance and will not have a lingering smell once rinsed out.
submitted byKristin Ess Hair - 1 year agoBrand expertA: yes it does. Its not unpleasant, but still very strong.

submitted byManufacturer - 1 year agoBrand expertA: I used it for the first time tonight, used the full bottle and left it on for 20 minutes. I would say 10% of my hair was grey previously and it seems have covered quite a bit.

Q: I'm a natural re head and want to tone down the warmth. Would Winter Wheat be appropriate/safe to try?
A: Hello Mum23! Winter Wheat is best if you have light blonde hair and want to neutralize or tone down warmth. We hope this helps!
submitted byTarget Beauty Consulting - 3 years agoBrand expertA: Hello! We would strongly advise to stay within your color family when using our toning glosses. The Winter Wheat is recommended for light blonde hair and will likely not have any affect on your red hair. We would suggest our Purple Shampoo and Conditioner to help tone the brassiness. Hope this helps!

Q: Instruction state "wait 10-20 minutes, depending on the result you want", does this mean the color is darker the longer you leave it on? What is the difference in the results when it's left 10 vs. 20
A: Thank you for your question! The ideal processing time is 20 minutes. Some people like to leave it on for a little more or a little less time depending on the results they’re looking for. To get a more subtle result, let it process for less time and if you want a more intense result, let it process for longer, up to 20 minutes. Hope this helps!
