This shampoo is amazing when paired with the conditioner and bond repair treatment. The scent is clean and not overpowering (kind of reminds me of a baby wipe smell??). It is the only shampoo that does not make my hair feel weighed down and greasy after washing. I also really like that it’s under $10!!

This shampoo doesn't lather at all; I have to keep going back and back to add more to my hair just for one wash. It feels as if I'm just adding thick water to my hair, not shampoo. Despite this, it still earns two stars because it does work well at not fading my hair color and it smells really good.

I regularly dye my hair and I love this stuff! I typically use redken all soft but decided to give this a try (shampoo and conditioner) and it’s AMAZING! My hair is sooo soft and has a good amount of volume and not oily at all!

I used to LOVE this shampoo. The new formula smells bad. The texture of the shampoo feels weird as well. It’s almost like dish soap? it did not lather the same either. My scalp felt like it was burning as well. I am so incredibly disappointed and will not be repurchasing one of my favorite shampoos :( bring back the old formula please!

This is by far my favorite shampoo. I have curly hair, so my ends tend to be dry, but my scalp tends to be oily. At first, I was having the problem of my scalp being greasy. I figured out a way to fix that so it's not greasy anymore. I think the problem is using too much product at once. I use 2 dime sized amounts.1 for the front of my scalp and 1 for the back. I also make sure to double cleanse, so after rinsing, I go in again with 1 more dime sized amount for my entire scalp. Doing this doesn't leave my scalp greasy and makes my hair smell good all day long. I previously used another brand that was about $30, and I'm sad to say I spent all that money for NOTHING it killed my hair on top of that it had a weird smell. In this economy, I was not about to keep spending that much for one bottle, plus the conditioner it was $60. This shampoo, on the other hand , is affordable and works great.

I absolutely LOVED this shampoo and have been using it for about a year now- it has been my “tried and true”.. I have noticed over the last few months that my hair has begun to thin out and I kind of overlooked it due to the fact that I had bleached my hair 3 times within a 6month period for a color correction and during this time I obviously received haircuts in between. (I typically have very thick hair so I like to get it “thinned out” to help with some of the weight) I have not colored my hair since the beginning of April and have been trying to “repair” and use “deep conditioning masks” to strengthen my hair after the color correction and using this shampoo yes makes my hair very soft and manageable but has cost me what feels like half of my hair at this point.

It did make my hair feel soft but I don’t feel like it helped with breakage. I also noticed more hair loss when using it. I cannot stand the smell. It’s so strong and I smell it all day. It’s very mature smelling. Will not be repurchasing this project.

I have been using the Bond Repair shampoo and conditioner for at least one year and the last time I bought both (a few weeks ago), I noticed the smell and formula have changed for the worse. The scent is stronger and not as pleasant and the new formula leaves my hair feeling more dry. The old formula was awesome- my hair felt nourished and the scent was light, clean and pleasant. It was the best drugstore line and you just ruined it by changing it.

If you were going to do this it would have been nice knowing that so I could find another shampoo/conditioner. Is there any way to get product with the OLD SCENT!!!!!
