For all over coverage, use a fluffy stippling brush or a makeup sponge to gently blend the powder into the skin, like you would with a liquid foundation. Apply a light layer all over the skin, and build up coverage in the areas where you need it. For a touch up, use a sponge to gently blot True Match Powder on the T-zone to add more coverage and absorb excess oils.

I was a customer for at least 12 years. I loved the old c3 powder in the round compact. This new formula is horrible! It doesn't match like the old formula, it makes my face look dull, no coverage, and the shade is not the same with this "New" formula! The applicator is awful as well. I even tried buying different applicators and using those with the new product, it still is awful on my face. Please bring back the old formula!

Please bring back the True Match mineral foundation powder. It was the only product that had amazing coverage, didn't cake, and felt great on skin. I'm not sure why this was discontinued in the first place.

I tried this in place of the true match loose powder foundation that was discontinued as this was recommended as the alternative. It is terrible and not comparable at all. It was very cakey, not light weight and caused a terrible breakout. So disappointed. What a waste of money.

Would be so happy if you could please bring back the old formulation that came in the round compact. I used to get compliments on my skin with the previous formulation. People would say that my skin looked beautiful and like I was glowing. The current formulation makes my skin look dry and dull, as it just site on top of my skin. Now I have to look for a different product.

I bought this foundation because L'oreal stopped making the mineral foundation that I wore for years. It was the only foundation that really worked for my skin. People always complimented me with the mineral foundation. I had hoped this would be a good substitute. It's awful and a waste of money. Coverage is poor, cakey & dull. So disappointed.

The new formula is terrible. The old one had a better sponge to apply, this one has a cotton ball type applicator and the powder doesn’t provide coverage like the old formula. Have to go find another option with another brand now :(

I've only used it once. I liked the look that I got from this powder. I will not use it again because, it contains Talc. I wish I would have read the ingredients before purchasing. In this day and age one would think that the cosmetic companies would be a little more mindful of their ingredients. I am thankful that is wasn't expensive.

It seems that significant changes have been made to the product that are sub standard. It doesn't apply/perform the same and the casing (square with cheap sponge is absolutely ridiculous)! Who made the product change decisions and why? Maybe you should have asked your customers in advance for feedback. I loved this product and bought it consistently.

Used to love this product when it was in the old round container. I will echo the sentiments of this "new version" from all the recent bad reviews ..... The new formula is just terrible! First of all, it doesn't blend well - is cakey on the skin. The product develops this unwanted rough surface that doesn't lift very well and I have to scrape it to get the product to apply! BEYOND DISAPPOINTED!!! Loreal, PLEASE bring back the original formulation! It WAS superior!

I've been using this product for the past 12 years & it was perfect! I would always get compliments on how pretty my skin looked in it. The new formula is awful, it's patchy, super dry (and I have oily skin), & very cheap. It feels like chalk now & also when I set my under eyes with it, my eyes start to burn & water! It also has coconut oil in it now which makes me break out like crazy. Not to also mention that they changed their applicator! Don't fix something that isn't broken. I have read nothing but bad reviews since it changed & that's because this new formula truly sucks.

I have used this product for MANY years as my everyday go to. The formula seems to have changed recently, it now somehow manages to provide less coverage while being more cakey on the skin and settles into even the most minor of creases. The new compact, while nice looking, is functionally awful- the powder puff is useless compared to the sponge which came with the old packaging. Also HEARTBROKEN to see that the True Match blendable concealer has been discontinued! That was a holy grail product, used for MANY MANY years - on a desperate search for a replacement. Tried the other available L’Oréal concealers, none blend well/are thick/patchy and settle in fine lines/creases

Oh my, why such a terrible change with the True Match super blendable powder? I’ve been using the N4 buff beige for 20 years, now everything is different. The round compact with the sponge applicator is now a square compact with a square cotton thin applicator. I then used the new and it’s terrible, does not apply to the skin evenly. Why does it not…because the ingredients are totally different. I’m so disappointed, now on the search for something new. I wish you would bring back what actually works.
