My daughter absolutely loved this doll and the kinetic sand that came with it. Unfortunately, the sand doesn't actually mold to her head like it is supposed to. My daughter still enjoys playing with the doll and sand separately though.

My daughter saved up her money for this and it just does not mold the hair like advertised. So disappointing for her.

I got this as a present, Love the doll and toy overall. however the sand does not stick to my doll ans does not create a cute hairstyle. ( I still love playing with the sand by its self)

I got this as a stocking stuffer for my 7.5 yr old daughter and literally will play with it for hours if she could! She already will sit at our kitchen table playing with the sand it came with for at least 20 mins but one time she sat and played for an hr watching her tablet. She loves fidget/sensory stuff. And she LOVES lol dolls so the fact it came with one, it was a perfect stocking stuffer toy for her this recent Christmas (2023). Highly recommend and will definitely get her more 🫶🏻 I hope they never discontinue this type of LOL doll because the value of it is worth it! I’m appreciative that the company that makes the dolls came out with the idea of selling sensory sand along with the dolls. Worth it!!!

The sand magic hair tots was easy to mold and shape to the dolls. The container was easy to open for little fingers once you showed where to rip the zipper plastic from.

We never received ours so can't speak to the specific doll, but I know that my daughter plays with them happily every time she visits our niece, and we do plan to buy her some for Christmas. We will update our review once we buy one!

Cute idea. The kinetic sand makes a nice mask, but it falls apart on the doll. The little sparkles and the sand go everywhere and you do quite a bit of sweeping up. The sand is great to make shapes with instead of the mold. The doll is very cute and makes a nice addition to the collection.

My daughter keeps this at her desk and it is always out because they don’t make a huge mess and they have yet to dye anything like the regular kinetic brand. I will definitely be buying more of these for stocking stuffers and would make a great bday present for little girls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 girls under 6, and these LOL Squish Sand Magic Hair dolls were a huge hit with them! The clothes are difficult to get on the dolls for little ones, and it's harder for my younger girls to use the mold for the "hair", but otherwise I think this toy was a big hit with them! We're so glad we got 2, so that each of my girls could have one. They've had so much fun sharing the clothes & using each others' sand to make different colored hair for their dolls. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! The sand doesn't make as big a mess as I anticipated (but we also have firm boundaries about where they can okay with it). The sand has an interesting texture and is fun in and of itself. I would recommend these as a fun little surprise gift for a young girl!

But the sand hair was too heavy to mold and keep on the characters head. Perhaps if the body was larger. Or the sand was a play dough product.
