No falsies. No extensions. Just fibers. Voluminous X Fiber Washable Mascara is both a volumizing mascara and a lengthening mascara. This two-step mascara system creates extreme volume and length for an extreme lash fringe effect. First, prime lashes with black primer to instantly build intense volume and color on each lash. Next, apply fiber-infused mascara for up to 7x more volume. This L'Oréal mascara is available in washable mascara and waterproof mascara.
Start by applying the black primer making sure to coat every lash. Then, before the primer dries apply the fiber-rich mascara on top of the primed lashes to create an extreme lash fringe effect. Repeat on other eye. Removes easily with soap and water.
To safeguard L'Oreal Purity, reserve this product for your personal use. Treat the applicator with the hygienic care you give your eyes. Never apply this product in a moving vehicle. Do not dilute mascara with water, saliva, or any other substance. Cap tightly after use. If change in odor or appearance occurs, discontinue use. Do not use this or any other eye cosmetic if your eye is injured, irritated, or infected. Consult a physician promptly.

I would love to know why this was discontinued? A lot of people love it. It took me forever to find a mascara that works for me. The other mascara duo’s have white primer that is not very effective and is so hard to cover the white with the mascara.
I'm very sad L'Oreal has discontinued the waterproof blackest black.

I’ve tried countless mascaras, and this is the only one that will keep my stick-straight lashes curled all day and doesn’t give me raccoon eyes. I’m also allergic to chromium which is in almost every mascara ever, but not this one. I recently discovered that the waterproof blackest black has been discontinued and I’m very disappointed… now I have to try finding a replacement, yet again.

This mascara really does make my lashes look longer. The first side is the base which is like glue for the second side's fibers. I find that 2-3 coats is great without clumping too much. It's waterproof enough, not perfect. Sometimes I do have some smudging and I'll have to make sure I don't have racoon eyes, but that may be my oily skin. So far it's been the best I've used including high end brands.

I've used other fiber mascaras before with great results. When the one I usually buy was out of stock I decided to try this one. Unfortunately it continuously flaked off on to my face and smeared under my eyes. Its going in the trash.

I purchased this because I would use another mascara from L’Oréal. Once I started using it my eyelids began getting extremely itchy and started to get a rash after a month.

It's not waterproof. Within one hour of wearing it I had smudges under my eyes. Such a bummer. Total waste of money.

Meh, not a fan of the Fiber X. It’s just too basic and I could achieve the same results that I got with any mascara. Gives you a more natural look which can be okay if that’s what you like. I was expecting a more “falsie” look. The primer spreads too easily on the skin and not enough on the lash. I didn’t get the length I wanted.

This mascara leaves my lashes feeling clumpy and sticky even with a very modest application. 2 types of make up remover, plus face wash and I STILL have it on my lashes.

I love this product! It makes your eyelashes full and when using waterproof make up remover it comes off quickly. You don’t need a lot to get the length and a good coat of mascara. I highly recommend if you want good length and coverage. The primer is a good primer, helps give it a little bit extra volume. Also it’s a really great price for the results. You don’t need false lashes anymore. So it saves you money.

I always use L’Oréal makeup, I have never had an issue with any of it. This mascara is the worse I have ever used. So disappointing, very clumpy the fibers flaked off irritating my eyes all night.

I only purchased this because the store was out of my favorite L'oreal mascara and it was a let down. It didn't extend my lashes or make them look full. It was blah and not worth it. I only used it twice before just getting rid of it.

I have really straight lashes. I use a curler and must use waterproof mascara or I lose the curl. I bought the waterproof version with zero expectations but did like that the primer was black- not a fan of the white primers . This mascara has been so good! It maintains the curl, doesn’t flake or transfer. I apply the primer, really getting all the lashes and then immediately follow with the mascara end. My lashes look so long and thick. I use the Lancôme Bifacil eye makeup remover and have zero issues with removal. I love that brushes are attached to the middle part so it feels like a regular tube of mascara and not a 2-n-1. It performs just as well as my high end mascara, and it’s the one I have been reaching for lately.

It’s a fine mascara for a cheap brand but let me tell you, ‘waterproof’ means ‘cleaning-proof’. It takes make-up remover, wipes and oil to this this crap off and then still the next day it doesn’t go on well because there’s a film on your lashes that you can’t even see. Also, it stays slightly tachy all day so you eyelashes could clump if you touch them. The plus is that it really is full and I like the brush shapes a lot.
