Q: Why would you put "Alcohol Denat" in this moisturizer if it is for dehydrated skin? Alcohol Denat dries skin out.
A: Hello MR, Thank you for your interest in La Roche Posay Hydraphase HA Light Hyaluronic Acid Face Moisturizer for 72hr Hydration. We understand your concerns and we appreciate you taking the time to reach out. Alcohol may be present in many categories of hair, cosmetic and hygiene products such as hair styling products, foundations, perfumes and deodorants. In cosmetics, alcohol is used for its high volatility (it disappears immediately after application), its drying, refreshing and antimicrobial properties. It facilitates the penetration of active ingredients into the superficial layers of the skin and promotes the deposit of ingredients on the skin or hair. We hope this information has been helpful and that you will try our products soon.

Q: Is it safe for pregnant women? Cheers.
A: Hi there! While every ingredient we use in our products is evaluated for safety, we do not specifically test our products on women who are pregnant or nursing. La Roche-Posay ensures there is substantial information supporting the safety of our products when used as directed by consumers. However, as there could be certain ingredients that physicians may not recommend for use during pregnancy and nursing, we always recommend that you discuss this with your physician and follow their advice.
