Q: Does it remove waterproof products from your skin?
A: Hello BaMottaB, Thank you for your interest in La Roche Posay Lipikar AP+ Gentle Foaming Cleansing Oil - Unscented - 13.52 fl oz. This face and body cleansing oil gently removes dirt and debris from the skin while providing moisture and protecting the skins natural barrier. Q: Why would someone use this cleansing oil instead of the other La Roche Posay moisturizing face and body wash? Both say for dry to extra dry skin on body/face which I have.
A: Hi There! Our Lipikar Cleansing Oil is targeted for Normal, Dry, and Sensitive skin types. The Lipikar Gentle Foaming cleanser is targeted for Dry, Very Dry, and Sensitive skin types. Although both are hydrating, We recommend to choose the formula of your preference!

Q: If used in the shower, does it leave the shower slick?
A: Hello Nana! The Lipikar AP+ Gentle Foaming Cleansing Oil is formulated to emulsify with water and rinse cleanly, so it shouldn't leave your shower excessively slick. However, like any cleansing oil, it can leave a slight residue that might make the shower floor a bit more slippery than usual. It's always a good idea to be cautious and take your time when exiting the shower. To minimize any potential slipperiness, ensure you rinse the shower floor thoroughly after use. You can also use a non-slip mat or adhesive strips on the shower floor for added safety. If you're still concerned, you might want to try the Lipikar Wash AP+ Moisturizing Body Wash. While not an oil, it's still very gentle and hydrating, formulated for dry and sensitive skin, and might offer a less slippery experience in the shower.

Q: Can I use this with combo skin?
A: Hello there! Our Lipikar AP+ Gentle Foaming Cleansing Oil is generally formulated for dry to very dry, sensitive skin, including eczema-prone skin. While it can be gentle enough for many skin types, those with combination skin might find it too rich or moisturizing, potentially leading to excess oiliness, especially in the T-zone. If you have combination skin and want to try the Lipikar AP+ cleanser, you could consider using it only on drier areas of your face or alternating it with a cleanser specifically designed for combination skin. Patch testing is always a good idea to see how your skin reacts before applying any new product to your entire face. Looking at reviews from others with combination skin might also offer helpful insights.
