Description
How to Apply: Use once daily. Clean the skin gently and pat dry before applying product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer. For example, if your acne is on the face, apply the product to the entire face. Do not use more than one time a day. Applying more than directed will not provide faster or better results, but may worsen skin irritation. During the early weeks of use, your acne may appear to worsen before it improves (this is normal); continue use as directed, unless you get irritation that becomes severe. Irritation is more likely to occur in the first few weeks of use or if using more than one topical acne medication at a time but irritation usually lessens with continued use of this product. Applying more than directed will not provide faster or better results. It may take up to 3 months of once daily use to see results. For further instructions, refer to the Drug Facts on the packaging

submitted byTarget Beauty Consulting - 4 months agoBrand expertA: Hello MC! When combining Effaclar Adapalene with a vitamin C serum, start slowly. Introduce the adapalene a few times a week at night. Once your skin adjusts (after a couple of weeks), add the vitamin C serum on alternate days, ideally in the mornings. Watch for any irritation and adjust usage as needed. Daily sunscreen use is crucial. A dermatologist can provide personalized guidance.

submitted byTarget Beauty Consulting - 2 years agoBrand expertA: Hello Cynthia! Thank you for your inquiry on La Roche Posay Unscented Effaclar Adapalene Topical Retinoid Oil Free Acne Treatment. We understand your concerns and we appreciate you taking the time to reach out. Parabens are a group of commonly used ingredients that act as a preservative in cosmetics and personal care products. They are highly effective in preventing the growth of fungi, bacteria, and yeast that could contaminate and degrade products. As part of our commitment to deliver high-quality, effective products, certain parabens are used in some of our formulations to ensure the safety of our consumers. Extensive research spanning decades has confirmed the parabens in our portfolio are safe at the concentrations we use. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), which regulates the personal care industry, upholds these findings. While we take great care in evaluating each ingredient we use and are confident in our products’ safety, we know there is public conversation encouraging consumers to avoid certain ingredients, as is the case with some parabens. Based on growing demand for products that do not include parabens, we substituted them for other preservatives in some of our products. Consumers can look on our products’ labels to see what ingredients are included. Additionally, as part of our innovation strategy we are developing packaging systems and new product formulations that are less vulnerable to microbiological contamination, which will limit the use of preservatives in general. We will continue to take a rigorous approach to product quality and safety, while monitoring consumer insights and preferences.
