[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to work in specialty coffee for a number of years. My shop roasted their own beans, and continually came out with new blends. These beans are now the only beans I will buy. The quality of espresso I got from these beans was unlike anything I'd seen before. The flavor was well balanced yet assertive, the aromas reminded me of when my dad would make coffee on the weekends when I was a kid. Knowing that these beans are ethically sourced, and of the highest quality makes me want to purchase these on a regular basis.

However, I have purchased it more than once as a gift for a very discerning friend of mine with superlative taste. The report is always most excellent. Shipping and price are always excellent service. The one thing I would ask again that Laird change is to offer a gift option (hide price and add a note to recipient) when I make my purchase.
