Our dog is a bit dramatic and will go on hunger strikes if he doesn’t enjoy the food, I can honestly say he hasn’t been on a single hunger strike since.

Wish it came in a bigger bag. It’s almost always sold out. My store never had enough to keep up with the customer demand. I end having to go to the north side half of the time. I stopped buying it because my dogs started to develop some sort of reaction to it. They were doing good on it for quite a long time (roughly around a year) but it was like they changed the packaging or formula or something, then we started seeing issues.

We’ve been feeding our dogs this food for years with no issues. The last couple of bags I’ve opened seem to be a different formula. There’s little white specs on the kibbles (looks like salt) that wasn’t there before and now my dogs can’t eat it without having severe diarrhea. I’ve tried testing different things and it seems it’s definitely the food. Going to try to return the bags I bought to have on hand.
Steer Clear of This Food!

I really was excited about this food. The ingredients seemed good and straight forward, I LOVED the resealable bag, and it is pretty well priced. However, before my dogs finished their first bag he got dry spots on his skin, he’s never had skin issues before. I figured it was his collar and gave him a bath and left his collar off of him for a couple of weeks, by the end of the bag and beginning of the second back, his skin was raw, and hair is falling out in clumps. He has several bald spots on his head and neck. Nothing else has changed besides his food, so I did a dive on some reviews and it sounds like this has happened to many dogs who never had any allergy issues. Somethings fishy about this brand which makes me sad cuz I really wanted to like it. I’d stay away from this food, I’m never someone who reads dog food reviews let alone leaves them, but holy cow it made me feel horrible seeing the bald spots and clumps of hair falling off of my dog. The pictures don’t even do justice. Hard to get a good picture. There are several bald spots on him now. Not worth it

I love this for my dogs. Better than most of the junk out there. But the last couple of months the store has been out. And now the wear house is out. Not sure what is going on. But I don’t want to change my dog’s dry food. Please bring it back!!!!

We’d been purchasing this food since 2022 and landed on it since we had a dog allergic to corn, wheat, soy, and chicken. I don’t know when the recipe changed but she started losing fur and getting hotspots again this past summer, chalked it up to her accidental ingestion of chicken one time, but she just wouldn’t heal. Come to find out this food I’d kept buying (since it didn’t have chicken before and I wasn’t repeatedly checking the label) now does. So disappointed in the reformulation.
DELISH!

Other good quality dog food seems like the better option at this point as my dogs will only the the lamb formula of Kindful. We tried the chicken & beef and they refuse to eat it. Blue Buffalo and others are better quality dog food but tried this brand two years ago since it was reasonabley priced w/o including corn filler. Not a fan of having this shipped and paying Target taxes for delivery (which are higher btw) along with paying local and state taxes. I thought delivery was free? Which leaves going in person where they have 2 very long cashier lines or self-check out, which limits to 10 items.

I love that my dog loves this! Pretty affordable healthy food for dogs! My dog was constantly farting and his tail was holding. Three months in and his hair is almost completely back!
