Lambs & Ivy Deluxe Crib Mobile Music Box - Battery Powered

Just got here today, so far so good. I was very ify because of some of the reviews but everything has been great so far and my baby loves it! I ordered this part as a replacement for my old one that broke. One review said it broke quickly so I hope that doesn’t happen to me. The only thing is that it does have a loud noise when rotating, but I honestly don’t mind it and neither does my baby. I also love that the volume is adjustable. Plays 3 songs: Go to sleep, twinkle twinkle little star, rock a bye baby. The song plays about 3 times before the next song comes on. The reason I put 4 starts is because of the noise it makes when rotating, even though it doesn’t bother me it is something to consider, and because I’ve only had it for a few hours lol.. if everything keeps working properly after time passes then it would be 5 stars for me!

Stopped working after a week!! Its defective, don’t buy this

I really want to love this. I had to order this replacement after the same item that came with the full mobile set up for my son’s crib burnt out. And I do mean burnt. The thing had always eaten through batteries abnormally quickly, but I was willing to accept that. But then it was slowing and not working on the very same day I had replaced the batteries. I went over to the crib where my son was sleeping to see a small plume of smoke coming off of it and the smell of burn. Something in the engine of it obviously burnt out. But my son is very adjusted to that mobile and I do like it, so I ordered the replacement. Now this one the motor is very loud, enough to be heard over the music. Maybe I got two very outlier duds, but unfortunately that is what happened and I think I’ll have to explore other options.

Has helped put our kid to sleep for almost three years. We are on to our third one due to some toddler-influenced wear and tear, but the rotation between songs is great, and the 20ish minute timer is perfect for bedtime snuggles.

This motor and music box are perfect for your non-motorized mobile! My baby is so happy.

I ordered this when prepping the baby’s room two months prior to delivery. Then we had the baby in a bassinet in our room. We just transitioned to the baby’s room for sleeping. Initially it worked fine. Then it made a grinding clicking noise but only when it first started up. Now it makes that noise throughout the music. It’s been two weeks of actual use and the return window has closed. :(

It plays each song twice. But there are only three songs. The volume options are great. Debating if I want to keep or return for one with more song variety.

Just what I needed

I was looking for a cheap battery box to replace the one we had which was the wind up. It sucked because it was unwind so quick and was annoying so this was a gods sent. It does play different songs but you can’t skip to any of them which stinks. This box is also pretty loud! There needs to be one extra setting between the not to loud but not to quiet setting because one down it’s to quiet and one up it’s to loud. No, it does not keep spinning without music but the music can be turned down all the way to mute. Besides that, it’s not bad for the price and has held up pretty well so far. Although we have only used it a few times but it’s so nice not to have to wind it up every other minute!

An excellent upgrade for your baby mobile. Three different tunes and a shut off timer. Volume control with on off feature add to the friendly usability. Definitely a 5 star item

The music plays smoothly. It plays for so long that I often have to turn it off. There is a great variety on volume. I had to turn mine upside down due to there being one hook and one circular closure but it still rotates smoothly. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Very cheap The first one broke after only a month of use

It is exactly what I wanted. Everything about it is great! It would be nice if you could set a timer for how long it runs. It runs for 20 minutes, and that is just fine with me just the same. And the price is excellent!

I haven't used this with the baby yet, but I have installed it and a different one I got at my shower, so I thought I would share my thoughts: Pros: The buttons are SO EASY to use. Easy to reach, easy to press, easy to remember what button does what. That is great. Seriously, great. The price. It was definitely the best price I found. The music is pleasant, clear, and has lots of volume options. Cons: (And these are not necessarily cons, just my opinions) There is no white noise option or ability to just spin the mobile without music. The top attachment is a hole, not a hook. Depending on what crib mobile arm you get, this could be a problem. I ended up with two crib mobile arms: one will attach to this box, the other will not. So maybe take note of that.

I bought this as a replacement for the music box on a second-hand mobile because the original no longer worked, and I'm glad I bought this! This music box came exactly as described. I added 3 AAA batteries and it works perfectly! It has a nice, not tinny, sound and rotates well (even after my 5 month old held on to the rotating part for several seconds!) I like the on/off buttons that are easy to find (feel) in the dark too!

Sturdy product, great customer service, timely delivery. Going to make a wonderful mobile for my new grand-daughter.

Bought for a second mobile I had because I loved the music it plays!!!

Disappointed in purchase. Way louder than expected even when turned down all the way. Wish it had an option to turn mobile with no noise.

Great music box! Way better than the manual wind.
