The fibers are 50% longer than standard cotton, so yarns are stronger, softer, less prone to fraying or pilling, and hold color longer.

When I received this I at first thought they accidentally sent me a bath towel instead of a mat. That is how thin it is. I will probably return it because too expensive for a towel.
