Medium: Standard, 18 oz.; King, 24 oz.Let's talk timelines. Synthetic stuffings have an average lifespan of four years. If you have allergies, your pillow should be replaced every two years. And high-quality down can last ten to fifteen years with regular washing and fluffing. No matter what the fill in your pillow, if the form is lumpy and uneven or you're experiencing back and neck pain, it's time for a replacement.

I bought the King Firm. This pillow is nothing but air. As soon as I put my head on it, it deflated from 5 inches thick to 1 inch. No support. Would not recommend.

Purchased this pillow to replace our current ones, however I made a mistake and got the Elite Medium. Much too firm for us, so I exchanged for the Essential Soft, which matches the ones we have. Much better for us!

Years ago I purchased thr Lands End ""down around" pillow, one with a firmer core but soft outside. I loved that pillow to almost flatness...I dislike buying a new pillow almost as much as going to a new dentist. I chose this as the most likely equivalent and it is perfect!

I wanted to love these, but they are way too firm for me. It’s like laying your head on a balloon. If you move or even blink, this pillow is going to scoot away from your head. I’ve tried washing them, setting a weighted blanket on them for a few weeks, the pillows are still standing at attention.

I purchased my first set of these pillows about 18 months ago and found them to be the best pillows I have ever purchased. I then bought 2 more for when I need new ones. I still haven't used them. Recently I purchased another set for my guest bedroom. My first guest loved them, too. She also was the first to use my new Landsend 700 thread count cotton sheets and with the pureloft comforter to match. She said the sheets were wonderful!

If you think you want medium, buy soft. The medium will be hood for sitting up in bed to read but tough to sleep on it

I bought this pillow originally in standard size and it was not standard. It was 4 inches shorter than the standard pillow. For a queen bed, you would need 3 of these standard size pillows. I sent it back and exchanged for a king size pillow. The king is a few inches shorter than a true king but at least it fits on my queen size bed. Pillow is soft enough. Not really impressed with pillow; it’s just okay.

I bought the medium pillows, but had to return them. They were stuffed so full and hard, I couldn’t sleep on them! I woke up with a sore neck. Would have exchanged for soft, if they had been available! Otherwise, the pillows were very well-made, the quality I expect from Lands’ End.

Not at all good. I was told by a doctor to get rid of my real down pillows, which I loved, and replaced some of them with 2 of these. These do not feel even remotely like down, they feel stiff and inflexible, just like all the cheap pillows. Big disappointment.

I’m a dedicated side sleeper and find the medium is firm enough to support my neck and spine. This is a lofty pillow, so don't try to stuff it into an older pillowcase or it will compress, be too firm, and definitely be too high for comfortable sleeping and support.

I bought a pair of these last month and washed them before putting them on the bed. They looked exactly the same coming out of the dryer as before they went in, which bodes well for durability. (Pillows should be cleaned regularly to kill dust mites and reduce allergens) I was worried that "medium" might still be too firm, but they give just the right amount of support.

Quality product. My husband likes his head in a higher position when sleeping, this pillow matched his needs as he has always stacked two pillows to accommodate his head.
