Love this excellent quality backpack. It's the perfect size for my petite kindergartener. Furthermore, the interior has space for a full size folder and lunch box. And the fabric and it's bright colors have held up well to repeat washings. My only complaint is that the size of its exterior pocket, which I like to use to pack convenient school snacks, is very small and shallow. One cannot zip it shut with a lot of standard size Tupperware inside or multiple snacks. I wish the manufacturer would increase the pocket size to match the size of it's larger backpacks.

My son loves these designs, but the backpacks and not high quality. We've bought 2 and both times the zipper has broken within days to months of use. Landsend has been great about refunding/replacing, but its not worth it to go through the hassle repeatedly.

I purchased this in December, my 8 year old used it for about 6 months. The zipper on the main large compartment broke. I reached out for a replacement, but unfortunately the company only stands behind the quality of their products for 90 days. After that, if it's defective you can't get a replacement, and it costs money to return it. Other companies have a one year warranty and even after that they allow you to return defective items for a replacement because they stand behind their products. Bummer. My kiddo really liked this one.

Bought this for my granddaughter who is in 1st grade. She is very happy with print and colors and loves that it is big enough for everything, gym shoes, folders and more. Her mom is impressed with the quality and thinks this backpack will be around for a few more years. A good investment.

I bought this for my 2nd grader and she loves it! It's a great size for 2nd grade and I actually prefer this style to the 2 pocket style. The quality is top notch, these are the only backpacks we've had that last longer than a year, even with the wear and tear young kids put them through. Love the patterns and the two side pockets for water bottles.

My grandson loves it. The pattern fits his personality and the personalization made it even more unique to him. The backpack is sturdy with great storage options. The quality is as good as other more expensive ones we've had in the past. The side pockets fit a 16 oz stainless steel water bottle well. We do wish they were a little deeper to hold a bigger water bottle even more securely.

I really wanted to like this bag but it barely made 6 months - mainly the water bottle mesh side pouches both got tears. Originally, it ticked so many of the boxes I was looking for in a back pack especially the FUN unique design w/ compartments but not so technical w/ too many straps. The issues I have is how flimsy and floppy so it just tips over when sitting empty. Additionally the mesh for the water bottles both ended up w/ tears & holes. Would not purchase again.
