Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

Height

Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.
Chest

Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.
Waist

With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.
Hip

Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.
Inseam

Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

This is a beautiful hoody and very soft to the touch. HOWEVER, the sizing is ridiculous! Size up a good TWO sizes! The body is small, the sleeves are long and skinny. I bought 2 of these for my 2 year-old and 6 year-old granddaughters. I returned the 1st set and ordered up another size. STILL too small if they were to fit beyond a few months. I returned the second set for another size up. The girls are average, slender, in size so the problem is Lands End quality control.

This is NOT worth $40. Super thin. Very lightweight. No liner to block out wind, it’s truly super thin. And they delivered it today with the security tag left on it, so I’ll just return it.

Bought this for my granddaughter, who will turn three years old in a few months. Ordered size 2-3; she typically wears size 3T in most brands of clothes. The jacket is wonderfully soft, and the color (lavender) is so pretty. She loves wearing it, and it fits well, though a bit "slim" through the body. The weight of the fleece is just right for cool Fall weather.

Wish their sizing for Small was 5/6 instead of 6/7. The style and quality is good, and very soft feel as advertised. Once my granddaughter tried this on, we saw that the print was too ‘busy’ and will not coordinate well with her other clothes; therefore — limited use. We arranged to exchange it for the Lavender one. But when that arrived, it had a security (theft protection) device attached. They said that one should not have been sent to me; those only go to Lands End stores, not to online customers. What a hassle!
