Lands' End Men's Big 9 Inch Comfort Waist Comfort First Knockabout Chino Shorts

Pockets are not as deep as the same shorts I bought years ago. Cell phone falls out when I sit down. Disappointing.

These are great. Perfect length and fit at the waist.

I've been wearing the Comfort First Waist Knockabout Chino Shorts for years. I ordered a 35 waist, the garment measures 34. There is supposed to be a 2" stretch. Because the waist is smaller the pockets don't fit right when it stretches.

Very comfortable and stylish. Very happy with them, and I will be buying more.

I bought these because they were a new color of shorts I’ve bought before. It seems they’ve shrunk the size, particularly the waist. I was disappointed that the size and material were not consistent from the last time.

Very comfortable, true to size, soft fabric..exactly what I had been looking for. Definitely a casual short, but perfect for daily knocking about.

Way too tight in the crotch and thighs even at a size (33) that is comfortable or large on me. Has LE decided that every male customer is 30 years old? Does it perhaps need to launch a boomer section? It's getting harder to find items that fit lately, and not just because of my pandemic paunch.

Wear shorts 12 months a year, and these are my go to short. Repeat purchaser. Have 9 pair in 4 colors. Very comfortable waistband. Nice fabric. Wear them everywhere.

I bought these for my 96-y-o father for Father's Day. He wanted a looser pair. Done (Thanks for the speedy send-out, LE.). He finds them very comfortable and can also use them for dressier wear. They wash well, too.

Not near the same quality as prior shorts with the identical product #. Would think Lands End would have better quality controls!

The value for the fabric and consruction used are the saving graces for these. The down side is the front pockets. The 6" inseam shorts I ordered at the same these had exceptionally shallow pockets. So much so, change, keys, anything with any weight can easily fall out of the pokets when one sits wearing those shorts. I thought the 9" version wouldn't have the same shallow pockets but such was NOT the case. With 9" to work with, such shallow pockets is unacceptable.

The size is on the small size. The front pockets are shallow. But material is nice.

Hubby is very happy with these comfortable shorts. However, he ended up returning them to get the longer version. The 9 inch inseam here was shorter by half an inch and potentially more after washing. But the shorts in the 11 inch length are perfect.

I purchased this for a gift. Perfect fit and he loves them.

Skimpy fit and back pockets are too shallow and button is on the wrong side If I send it back for a larger size you will charge me postage

This was probably my 10th pair of these shorts because they look good and fit well. This pair did not fit. I ordered my normal waist size and these felt tight both in the waist and the overall fit. I had ordered another pair at the same time and they fit fine.
