I ordered a Men's medium for my 13yo son, thinking they'd be big but fit when he is grown, since that's my husband's typical size. But they are really small! Not worth the hassle to return, so my 11yo daughter will wear them.

I measured my hand using the Lands' End size chart. But the large size recommended is too small for my hands... I can barely get past the wrist opening. I returned for an XL.

The gloves were two different sizes in relation to cuff opening. Both were too tight for my husband, but the opening on one was so small that he could not even get his hand into the glove. This is a completely different experience than a different size in the same gloves. Those were the same size and fit quite well.

I lived in Iowa where I walk every day and needed some very warm gloves, which these are. I ordered the XL but they are still too small and hard to get on, but sending them back is a pain, so I will donate them to someone with smaller hands.

These are lovely strong, warm gloves with good wrist seal and length. They're great for working outdoors in cold and damp and have good grip. The only negative is that they run small. We had to order again and go to XL, the largest available size, and they are still a little tight. Fortunately these, size L, fit a friend and he is happy with them, too. Since they were on sale, both pairs cost about the same as one would have.

I bought these as a present for my husband. His previous gloves from Land’s End were about 20 years old and getting a little frayed. It took some doing to get him to donate them but he did. He loves his new gloves!
