Great quality. Wish short had more belt loops, only one in the back so belts do not sit flat on shorts. Could use two more loops back there!

These run large and my son complains about how uncomfortable they are. He is an average size 6 year old who where's size 5/6 normally...the 4/5 I bought him are still too big and he hates the waist.

These were gigantic and did not have any way to adjust the waist inside the pants. They also seemed very thin and not very durable.

This material wrinkles a lot... I purchased this style for my kids school uniform since he struggles with buttons. He doesn't like the adaptive style because he said the other kids can hear the Velcro. I have to take the shorts to the dry cleaners for them to press the shorts to get the shorts to look decent to be able to wear to school. When I iron the shorts myself, I cannot get the wrinkles out. I hope Lands End can find an alternative material that wrinkles less, but allows still to have the pull up option with a button for kids that need this alternative.

My little one isn't confident buttoning and zipping his school uniform shorts from Lands End, so I ordered these in the hope that they would be indistinguishable from his peers. These are humongous on him. They are also much thinner than the uniform shorts. I will have to keep looking at different brands to try to find a good "dupe." Sadly can't recommend these.

I bought the size 3/4- boys tan elastic waist shorts. They are huge. He is Normal size 4. So waist of money. He will have to gain min 5-7 lbs to wear

I bought this for my granddaughter for her school the waist is fine but her legs were swimming. Way to wide in the legs

These do not have an adjustable waist like the pull-on style pants. They run large for my child - will not purchase this style again.

I buy these for my sons school uniform because he doesn't like the adaptive shorts option with the velcro instead of a zipper. Unfortunately this material wrinkles a lot. Even when I iron the khaki color they still look wrinkled. The navy doesn't look as bad after I iron them. If you are buying to wear as a school uniform, plan to always iron before your kiddos can wear them to school.

These are ok, my daughter doesn’t want to wear them because they are a bit stiff. They also collect a lot of lint.

These shorts have been wonderful for our school uniform. My son has to tuck in his shirt and wear a belt and you would never know there is no zipper and the button is for looks only. I followed the size chart on the website and and they fit perfectly!

I bought these in the same size that my child already owns and they are definitely a different fit and length. On top of the terrible sizing I ordered them in June and didn't receive them until October along with the rest of my order. If the school my child went to didnt require this brand I would never order from you again.

I’ll buy these every school year for my son. He loves the convenience of the slip on and off with no zipper or button.

I bought these since the pull ones were back ordered and I have to say they are quite nice. They have a more dressy look and more belt loops which I really like. The regular pull ons I normally get get a little wrinkled after a few washes and I have to say these have really stood up to the wear. The velcro and magnetic closure are bonuses too.

I initially bought these in a large. Fit perfect. Ordered a couple more large. Fit awful. Completely different from the initial pair of shorts. This time they were gigantic. Decided to try and order them in a size smaller, medium. Too tight! Sent every pair back for a refund. (I only kept the initial pair) From my experience the shorts are all cut differently. *The question below asks 'overall fit', but I can't honestly pick one answer, because they ALL fit differently.

I bought these for my husky child who wears a 8 usually. His 8’s-small were a little snug. The 10’s-Medium fit great in the waist. He his short so we have to have them hemmed of course.

I ordered the pull on shorts and I got them and they were actually okay. I then decided to reorder the same exact shorts, 2 more to be exact. When those 2 arrived, they were cut completely different than the first pair I initially ordered. They were huge and fell right off. Not the same at all, even though I ordered the exact same pair. So frustrated because my daughter has to wear them and this may be the very reason we do not enroll her in the private school again. That's how bad the shorts are!!! (had this problem with pants too) And I don't really know the "overall fit" because apparently every pair will be different!!!

It is really frustrating that the uniform shorts do not come in husky sizes. I either have to get shorts several sizes bigger to be able to get them up over my son’s hips or get the husky size long pants and have them hemmed to be shorts. Getting them several sizes bigger messes with the inseam to where he waddles like a penguin. I am grateful for the pants and tops that are husky sized and give my boy extra room to move and breathe, there just needs to be a husky option for the pull up shorts too. The amount of money I have spent on different sizes trying to figure this out is insane.

My son love this pants he doesn't like zipper and button easy on and easy off! As a mom of actives boy I wish this pants had spandex made it stretchy but overall couldn't be happier:)

I spent over a month looking for uniform shorts for my kindergartener. I was unable to find any, anywhere, that fit him. We needed shorts that he would be able to tuck his shirt into AND be able to wear a belt per uniform requirements. We could never find any that fit due to the fact that by the time we found shorts to fit his waist... the length was so long they looked like gauchos. He is not a chubby child by any means, he's just a solid little boy. We tried every brand imaginable and NOTHING WORKED. Enter the Uniform Kids Pull on Shorts from Land's End.. THESE WERE A LIFE SAVER!!!! Finally, a pull on style short with BELT LOOPS!!!!! Every other pull-on style short we found had drawstrings and so he wouldn't be able to wear a belt with them... I cannot tell you how glad I am that we found these. We simply took his measurements, used their size chart, and ordered the appropriate size. If you're having problems finding shorts that fit your child in both their waist and the length... GET THESE! You won't regret it. I promise. Only SLIGHT con... They tend to show lint a little easier than others but get a lint brush and you'll survive.
