Ties are too short

I purchased three of these ties, which are too short for a person with an 18 inch neck. The description did not include the length so I took a chance. They would be good for a school boy with a small neck. I donated them to Goodwill. They are about three inches shorter than an older Brooks Brothers tie I have in my closet.

I thought I bought an adult tie. I guess I'm lucky to be short. Considering I thought I was being careful, I'm a bit disappointed to find that I still screwed up. I'm either an idiot or something is confusing about all this.

I bought this for my 13-year-old grandson. I'm sure he will wear it, but he wasn't overjoyed with the gift. the colors, while meant to be conservative, are a bit too muted even for a grandpa. He may be exchanging it.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Grandson. It is a close match to the tie his grandfather wore. This is the first Christmas without Pop. So it was very important to find something that would remind him of Pop and carry on the tradition.
