Lands' End Women's Cotton Tank Top

Terrific Tank Top. It goes well as a foundation piece or serves well as a layering top. I bought four of these tops; and am extremely happy.

The fabric seemed thinner than other tanks I've bought in the past and it was way looser/bigger even after returning a medium and ordering a small instead.

Received today, disappointed in material.

I have these tanks in several colors. They are wonderful for layering, especially for tops that are a little too low for me in the front. I sometimes wear them backwards for a higher neckline if it layers better with my other top. They wash well and keep their shape.

I bought this three weeks ago in a smaller size because I have lost a lot of weight. As usual, I washed and dried it. It shrank and now doesn't fit like it did when it arrived. I don't have the money to return it and would now order in a larger size. I'm very disappointed in this Land's End product and would like a response.

This item has been a staple in my wardrobe for many years. I am giving it only 3 stars because the length of the regular size has become way too long, and I have to cut it off and re-hem the it before I can use it.

I recently had breast cancer surgery & was looking for something soft & non-restrictive. There’s tanks were perfect! So nice I bought a couple more. Great soft yet heavyweight material & flattering shape. I’m better now & these tanks will remain in the front of my closet. Very nice.

These cotton tops are mid-hip in length, you can even wear a belt. Substantial fabric, not thin. Have many colors and want more!

The Breton Green is the same dark green as pictured but the white stripes are actually beigey-cream or darker than off-white. I was a bit disappointed, because I can't wear it with a white cardigan to be tone-on-tone, but it's ok. However a few things: 1. It is overly soft, like saccharine-soft. I only wear cotton and this is the first time I've encountered this. It feels "creepy" on my hands, as if the yarn had been treated with too much fabric softener. 2. Because of that, it feels overly warm. This is definitely NOT for summer (or our California hot days). It's a winter or cool weather top, to be worn with layers and a scarf. 3. The dreadful PRINTED tag, GAH!!! The print is plasticky and this botheres me! PLEASE: let me CUT OFF the NORMAL tag and be done with it. For these reasons, I won't buy a 2nd one, sadly. However: 4. XL has no armpits gap and the length is good (hits top of hips). 5. I'm an extreme hourglass (38H, smaller waist) and this is BOXY as I like it, does not reveal my weird shape AND does not make me look fat! (Vertical stripes cause that effect, horizontal ones stack us up and create the illusion of height or make one look taller.) 6. No odors and once on, the cotton is no longer creepy, but it's way too warm for warm weather, let alone hot. 7. It's very thick cotton, high quality (but pity about the printed tag ruining the entire garment, UGH!) Please bring this back sans cotton treatment (cotton is naturally soft, shouldn't have added chemicals to saccharine-soften it!) and ENOUGH of the added BPA-plastic faux-tags at back: I can't remove this, therefore I will rarely wear this, sadly, which means it will last forever, which means Land's End won't sell as many as if you'd let ME remove the annoying tag. My advice? Buy only 1 and then see how you like it.

If between sizes, I would size down on this one. It fits just a big loose and sloppy. But the quality is good, and is very functional to wear as a shell under a long sleeved blouse.

Lovely neckline, fits well at shoulders & through body, a real classic gem. Wash in Woolite & cold water & these little darlings last forever! Goes with casual clothes & under an evening shirt or jacket. Very versatile wardrobe staple.

This is a great basic tank top. Comfortable. Nice fit.

Beautiful material-fits well & comfortable to wear

Nice looking, except that the arm holes are larger that they need to be and do not cover my bra when I move my arms away from my sides. It does cover straps, though. Fine for wearing at home, going for a walk, or running errands, but I won't be wearing it out to lunch. No shrinkage when washed in cold water and damp dried on low heat.

Ordered ash gray in L, my normal LE size, it fit great when I tried it on. Washed and dried as normal and it shrank a FULL size. My loss is my sister’s gain.

Nice top , comes up a big large so had to return the first one but next one fitted well shame I lost out on the colour I wanted originally.

Great versatile top. Fits very well. Nice length too for a tall lady

This top appeared to be a white and green stripe. It is not. It is a green and cream stripe, which of course does not match white clothing. I was very annoyed when I received the product. I kept the top because it was so inexpensive and could wear it with jeans, after the Labor Day restriction on wearing white. It’s a great top, but the website was disingenuous when they were selling a white and green striped top.

Had to return as too big. Missed out on the colour I wanted but next one was ok. Nice fit with wider shoulders to cover straps.

Bought for a holiday so not yet worn but good quality and fit.
