I bought 2 of these. Black and white. I’m between sizes so I ordered up to a medium since they are 100% cotton. The label does say cotton, but they don’t feel like cotton. It feels ‘silky’. I imagine I will sweat to death. They’re also pretty shapeless and have deep arm openings. I’ve been a Lands End customer for decades and this is not at all what I expected.

huge armholes in plus sizes

I bought this in May 2024, so hopefully it will change for this upcoming year. The armholes are enormous. I wear the largest size and my arms are huge, but you can see half my bra on the side of the shirt. Also the material is really thin and rather see-through. I have only worn it a few times under sweaters, but I would never be able to wear it alone. Very disappointed.

The fit of this top was changed. I purchased many of these tunic tank tops in the past. This new iteration has a much tighter fit and feel. I don't think sizing up would help. The entire cut is very snug.

I have several of these shirts for years and loved them. I purchased some new ones recently and they are not the same. The sizing is smaller and shorter. My old large tall shirts fit better and are thicker than the new X-Large tall ones. Very disappointed

Like the longer style with certain pants. The fit on this top is a bit erratic. It depends on the one you receive. The cotton fabric is a good weight, a little thinner than their regular cotton tank. The only issue is in light colors like white the material is so thin and see through. The black is fine. Please bring back the quality material in ALL tank and tee shirt colors!!!!

Good News - Bad News

I bought four of these tunic tank tops; red, white, black and water lily in size XL in accordance with the size chart. With the exception of the red top (which was a just a little more snug across the chest but not snug enough to prevent being able to wear it) they fit perfectly; i.e., body skimming, not close fitting. That's the good news. The bad news: After washing the red and water lily tops (in cold water) and drying (on lowest setting as recommended) the red top shrank easily a whole size and the water lily shrank only slightly less. Shrinkage was both in length and width and to the point where they don't feel comfortable to me anymore (I don't like body hugging tops). I realize these tops are 100% cotton so some shrinkage was expected but this was way more than I expected. I'll try line drying the other two so the purchase doesn't turn into a total waste.

After washing and drying it once, it shrunk at least a size and the neckline wrinkled. I like the lighter weight fabric, but not if it’s going to look awful after washing.

I love these and stock up/refresh every summer or so. I took off one star bc in the last batch I received, they all fit as expected EXCEPT the white one which definitely feels like it’s a size smaller. I’m thinking that I’ll call and try to return or replace it.

Ladies, size up one. I hope you have larger arms, as the armholes are saggy on me. The fabric appears to be good quality, but I haven't laundered it yet to see how it fares. I wear a 2x in most US brands, and this one runs snug. I worry that it will draw up in the wash. I will wear it at home, as I don't want to hassle with the returns process, and I do love the color. But I'm very disappointed, as it's a Land's End, and I've always had good luck with their products prior to this. I hope they haven't jumped on the cut-rate goods bandwagon, but I fear it is so. Knowing all this and buying wisely in a larger size, I would recommend it if your arms accomodate a larger armhole.

I really love these they're versatile and stylish and I have them in a number of colors but I do have to agree with another reviewer that the newest ones I purchased are smaller than the ones I purchased in the past few years. They are smaller in the torso which makes the fit more body conscious and I feel it defeats the whole point of a tunic. The fit was perfect before.

I bought this top following your size chart guide line which said I should order the petite large. I felt a bit uneasy about it as I usually wear a medium. I should have not ordered the large and followed my gut and got the medium. It is way too big. I ended up keeping it due to shipping charges. I am going to try to alter it to fit me.

I have bought many tank tunics. I’ve always loved the fit. Most have been made in Peru and fit great. However, just bought the red and they don’t fit as well. Armholes are larger, straps are cut differently, and the mid section- bust aren’t as loose. As a tunic, I’ve always loved the lose fit. The red is now made in Egypt. I’m very disappointed in the new cut and fit. Hope this isn’t the future of all the tunics.

I probably have 2 dozen of these tanks, mostly black, purchased over several years. It is often hard to find 100% cotton shirts. My regular size is small, but I have purchased many medium petites for a more boxy fit. Also purchased large tall for simple sleep shirt. Would love more bright color options. Pastels are boring!
