Lands' End Women's Starfish Mid Rise Knit Denim Straight Jeans

I love the feel of these jeans. What I HATE about Lands ends Jeans / capris is EVERYTIME they arrive with a funky chemical smell that takes several washings to get out every time. I’m currently on wash #6 and they still stink. I’ve tried vinegar, baking soda, it clean, etc so far nothing is working. The money I save on the purchase goes to laundry coat.

LOVE the Starfish jeans! Please don’t stop carrying them. They are the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned. Yes, there can be an occasional snag in the fabric. You can use a pin to pull it thru to the inside. Offer them in black denim and I’ll get two more pair.

I've been looking for jeans like these for a long time. They feel more like leggings but fit and look like jeans. They are looser in legs than leggings. For reference, I am 5'5" and 175 pounds and am apple shaped (no hips or butt, all tummy). I bought the XL regular length. They are just a tad long but not so long it bothers me. People have mentioned that they snag easily. I don't know yet but if they are going to, they will with mine since we have five indoor cats!!! So far, so good!

As much as I want to love these jeans, the quality is not up to par with the other Starfish pants I've been wearing for years. I have 2 pair, the first ones did not have rivets near the pockets and the 2nd pair has rivets. The 2nd pair immediately got holes near the rear pocket edges. I started a return but I'm sure I waited too long and now I'm stuck. I went back and looked at the 1st pair I ordered a few months prior, and sure enough they have holes too. Neither of mine have holes as large as the another pair shown in the reviews, but they definitely have holes. Let's work on the quality Lands End, for the price they should last longer than one wearing. Love the fabric, just not the construction.

They are very comfortable. But the problem is the odor. After several washings they still have a musty chemical order. Why? Even when you are wearing them you can smell the chemical Oder. Touch the fabric with your hand and it smells like them. What gives?

After I bought similar Land's End jeans that I love, I needed a second pair. Unfortunately, the new jeans disappoint. The fit is great and the fabric comfortably soft, but instead of the solid blue pictured, it has weird horizontal stripes in the front between hips and waist. Can only wear with tunic tops that cover the stripes.

They fit beautifully! So comfortable, easy to wash. The only thing I have to be careful of is the snagging. My cat uses her claws on my left thigh to signal that she wants to jump on my lap and her claws snag my pants. So the snagged pants are now only for working around the house.

These fit well but they have a bad order - like mildew! Washed several times with odor removing product but still has a slight odor.

These are so comfortable! I normally wear a 2X in regular Starfish pants so that’s the size jeans I ordered. However, even after washing they are a little too loose. I may try to take in the side seams. However, a pair of 1X jeans fit perfectly and I’ll order more of those.

I have purchased 4. Definitely like the dark color better.

Ordered a 1x. It was too long and had to shorten after a washed and shrunk them. They did tend to go baggy after wearing a few hours.

Nothing remotely resembling denim but, instead, flimsy fabric as far from denim as I am from the moon. I expected far better from Land's End.

Bought to replace similar pull-on, straight-leg starfish jeans (had belt loops, but no front pockets). Previously bought 2X for looser legs because of edema, and wore them with a belt to fit my waist. I had to buy 1X in this version to fit my waist because this version does not have belt loops. Legs are snug, but not uncomfortable. Otherwise like the jeans.

Soft & a little stretchy like Starfish pants, but with pockets!

Jeans are light weight and comfortable. Nice pockets. Would have preferred them to have been slimmer at ankles, but length is nice.

This is the second time I’ve bought these jeans! (Different wash this time). They fit exactly how I like jeans to fit……just a tad snug, but very comfortable due to the nice stretch. Now that I have two pair I can wear my perfect jeans every day!

They arrived snelling incredibly musty. I liked the fit so decided to keep them figuring I could get the smell out in the wash. Unfortunately after washing them 3 times they still smelled. Clearly the warehouse where these were stored has a terrible problem with water leakage.

I was looking for a pair of knit jeans with a straight leg. All I could find were slim leg or jeggings or skinny - UGH! I have the regular Starfish knit pants and they fit great so I ordered the 1X in these. They fit me like they were made for me! Not too tight anywhere, not too loose. Just enough room in the seat, easy to get on, they lay flat across the front with no bagging and best of all: NO SKINNY LEGS! These are the best ever! Now, just make them in more colors and I'll buy every color you sell!

I bought these pants over a year ago and it did not take long for the seams and pocket corners to get holes in them.

Have purchased several pairs over the years. LOVE THEM especially the front pockets!! NOW Lets have colors in all the starfish not just certain ones!! Also, the seams need to be improved and not be crooked!
