    Pants are cut like bell bottoms, not straight leg and very long. Not like previous black pants I bought. I needed to hit the sewing machine to fix.

    My favorite pants! I have worn theses for years and find the fit to be great, the material substantial and the long-lasting fabric to be terrific! They don't sit too high above the waist like the sport knit pants, but sit at your waist.

    I have gained weight, unfortunately. I wasn't thin to begin with but was able to wear a size 18 in Lands End pants and jeans. I decided to go up a size and went to the plus size of 16-18Plus, which comes out to a 1X size, supposedly bigger than a regular size 18. I couldn't believe it, but when the 3 pair of pants arrived, none of them fit in the waist and all of them were different from each other, for the same exact 2 pair of pants and 1 pair of jeans, just different colors! Turns out that all 3 were made in different countries, so I guess it depends on which country makes your pants, how they will fit. How can that be? It should be the exact pattern that each country and each sewer has to have. How can the waist bands be different by up to 2 inches? I am very upset with Lands End and the quality and sizing that has gone right down hill.

    Fit was nice, and true to size. After two washes they definitely faded and the fit changed in the hip area. I thought for the price they would last longer. They are more like workout pants than dress pants.
