I like the pants, they are a nice material and I wanted to keep them, but they were way too big in the thigh for me. I normally wear a size 12 in jeans. I have this issue with jeans as well.

Pants are not as described. The pockets do not lay flat and the legs are not straight. I kept these because they are comfortable and can be worn untucked.

I am somewhere between a medium and large at 157 lbs and carry extra weight below the waist. I ordered the large in this style and they were very baggy on me around the hips, which is a rare fit problem for me. I am returning them, and must say that Lands End clothing is all over the place in sizing. Because you do not offer free returns to support your variable product fit, the customer takes a gamble of not only being disappointed, but having to pay for return.

Where do I begin? This item is completely different from purchase, to washing/drying and putting on, I’m shocked. I’m a solid XS/S 2/4/6 in pants at LE everything seems to run a bit differently so I always try on at the store if I can (I am 5’5” 117 lbs). The small seemed great in the fitting room because I knew I had to leave room for shrinkage. But wow, I did not know they’d shrink that much. I washed and dried exactly as the care tag stated. I now have pants that are ankle pants (shrunk at least 2 inches) and the high rise is no longer that, it’s now at least 2.5 inches below what it was when I tried on. I’m giving a 3 star because I did get them for 40% off and I’ll make them work. However, if I paid full price I’d likely give one star. LE, you can do better. Slightly disappointed.

Excessive shrinkage. Poor quality.

My hand is in a cast and I need pull on pants. I was excited to see these come in tall with a 32 inch inseam. After washing on cold and drying on extra low, the two pairs I ordered now have 28-1/2 inch inseams and the left inseams do not go straight down but rather veer toward the front. I’m very disappointed. They are both going back.

The wider waistband is such a great improvement over the narrow elastic that used to be in the sport knit pants. The material is beautiful! For me they run a bit larger, which is great, I just order a size down from my usual XL - Large. Perfect fit!

I bought these pants about 3 weeks ago and they are really comfortable. Nice caramel color. I will buy another color. I'm 5'4" and the length is perfect for me. Stretchable and smooth fabric.

Why do they Change a good thing? Have purchased these pants for at least 20 years. The relaxed fit is gone and you've switched out o a wide waistband. I just ordered three pairs, went up a size knowing the relaxed fit was gone & could barely get them on. Come on.... Just make a new line if you're going to change out a beloved product. Please bring that fit back, they were so comfortable!

I've been buying these pants for many years. They are very comfortable, with good-sized pockets and soft fabric. The only problem I find is the black and navy fade very quickly even though they are washed in cold water and stay in a low dryer for a few minutes and then hang to finish drying. Does anyone else have this issue and what can be done about it? Otherwise a great product!
