    I purchased these jeans recently and when I opened the bag to try them on the smell was awful!! I have purchased these pants before and they have never smelled like chemicals and moth balls. Not sure what’s going on but I will be returning them, which is very disappointing b/c I really like the fit and style of these pants.

    Pants are comfortable, but tend to lean towards the higher of the 2 sizes (eg: 14-16; I wear a 14 & feel I could've almost probably went down to the Medium 10-12 because they are quite baggy. But I just read in the comments & caught LE telling a customer that's what they do. So please keep that in mind when ordering these particular denim pants!).

    Starfish pants are my brand fits me well always order 1x size.But I thought to try this style. I am heavy set lady and 5'1 so I tried those on super snug in the hip and in the tummy just falls at my ankles. now I gotta pay for shipping & reorder.

    Where have the Starfish mid rise pull on full length jeans gone? The jeans now being offered are NOT the same. They are bulky around the waist and hips, and I totally dislike the material and the overall appearance. Please, please, please bring back the previously offered jeans, all the solid colors. They've been a wardrobe staple for years.

    I bought my first pair at the beginning of spring. I never thought to try high rise before. The fit is so perfect; the knit is so soft and giving; and the crop is a little longer than some. Love the pockets. So I bought a second pair in a different color. Please please please make these in a regular length Jean so I can live in them all winter!!! Other colors would also be nice for the crop.

    Love the comfortable fit, but the chemical odor is absolutely horrible! I washed them after receiving and still smelled awful. Soaked them in Castile soap 3 times and washed after each soak. (recommended when I searched online). The smell is still there, but not as bad. I will never buy again.

    These are not the most flattering pants but they’re super comfy. I would have kept them for weekend wear but they smell TERRIBLE! As another reviewer noted, even after washing and drying twice, there’s a horrible odor. Returning.

    I have bought several pairs for me and my mom. Very disappointed in the color - medium sea blue. It is much lighter than the shade showing. I bought several pair last year and the color was truer to the picture showing. I will be returning most of the recent ones bought.

    There was a strong chemical smell right out of the bag. I tried washing them and it didn't help. I guess I'm stuck with them since I've washed them. They are draped over my deck railing, hoping the air and sun will do something. I'm unsure about wearing them, being against my skin.

    Smells like gasoline and is huge! I had to wash this on hot 3 times to get teh stench out of it. i've never had a products sealed in a plastic bag some out smelling like it was used to wipe up a gasoline spill! Pants also run large - I can't put anything in the pockets as that makes them fall down (this after washing in hot water 3 times) They are comfortable though so I'm giving 3 stars.

    These pants have a terrible chemical smell out of the bag. I’ve washed twice & let air. While not as bad, smell still lingers. If you are sensitive, I would not buy these. As far as fit/quality, I would say just OK at the sale 40% off price.

    I recently had knee replacement surgery. These are perfect for hiding the scar. Beyond that they are sublimely comfortable, nice looking and match everything. And they have pockets. I love them so much that I bought three pairs.
