Lands' End Women's Starfish High Rise Wide Leg Pants

I wore these yesterday for the first time and they are so comfortable, nice and long, with a very modern wide leg. I've worn Starfish pants for nearly 20 years now, they are my daily go-to pants. BUT... I miss the little waist band pocket; I always used it. It was the perfect size for a hand sanitizer or cash, or an ID card. Now there is no pocket! Why?

These are the only pants I now wear. My life would be so complete if Land's End made these in a dark charcoal and a dark brown. I wear them to work everyday and even on the weekends. I'm not lying when I say they are the only pants I now wear.

Great fitting pants..Great color grey.. I am 5ft.6 and weigh 119 lbs.& size S regular length fits me perfectly…They go with any color top..

Starfish pants are my everyday go tos. I love them! I've lost count of how many straight leg, cropped and Capri pants I have. These wide leg are WAY too wide for me. I tripped and almost fell when my shoe caught on the excess fabric. Wish I could send them back.

I have a few Starfish straight leg pants which I really like. But these wide leg pants are awesome. They are casual and dressy all in one. Please consider making Starfish apparel in a nice dark navy color. The Deep Sea Navy is unattractive and cheap looking. Other than that great pants.

I mistakenly failed to order petite so these were a foot too long.

I had to exchange twice to lower the size. I ended up with an extra small and they are still TOO BIG! I should have sent it back but hoped it might shrink a little. It did not.

The length on these pants was way too long. Not sure why they were longer than all my other Starfish pants. So, I had to pull out my needle and thread and re-hem them. Luckily I took Home Ec in the 60's in high school and have that skill set. I never return items; if I can't fix them, I give them to sisters or friends.

I am loving this pair of pants! I have very large legs due to having Lipedema and have a hard time finding pants that will fit them and are also comfortable. So, I'm very excited to tell you these are PERFECT. They actually fit my waist, hips and my large legs. They feel wonderful. I like the wide waistband, also. I'm just waiting for you to get the black pair back in stock in my size (18) and I'll get them!

Why isn’t there a tall option? Some reviews mention the “longer” length of these pants—Some for some against. But the reason I have stayed with LE for over 30 years is bcs of the sz options. (Many of us go up and down over the years!) I do not consider myself a “tall” person, but I detest pants that are too short bcs I am larger on the bottom, so a longer silhouette is more flattering. I love Starfish pants. They are my go-to now that I am retired. These wide leg pants are fashionably current right now so I was excited to see LE offer them, thinking I would be able to get a pair that fit AND are long enough. You don’t often see wide leg pants worn too short unless they are a crop style. So WHY didn’t LE bring out a tall version? For those complaining about pants being too long, I’ll just say this: it’s very easy to shorten pants, either yourself or take them to an alteration place at your local mall. BUT, rarely can you lengthen pants. Depending on the pants, I have shortened the LE Tall and have been very happy with them. I need that extra length. PLEASE LE: bring in the Tall size for these great styled pants.

I have several pairs of these & I LOVE THEM!!! Very comfortable.

This is actually my second review as I have tried an additional size and additional colors. I initially bought rhubard (Medium - I am about a size 12) and found the waistband a little tight. I have since tried the Large (much too large) and decide the Medium was close enough. The rhubarb and black ARE a little snug in the waist, but with creative partial tucking, I can work around this. And the length is perfect for my 5'8" frame. (I do NOT put them in the dryer). I did find the Deep Sea Navy to be slightly smaller in the waist than the Rhubarb and Black, and this does not work for me. It's also more of a true navy, and not as bright as it appears online.

Bought these about a month ago. Tried them on and washed them thinking they’d work. Put them on again and there was a hole in the thigh that I didn’t notice and the color had faded slightly. As the day went along the pants got bigger and saggier and the hole got bigger. Can’t return because they’ve been washed and worn and now I have to throw them away. Total disappointment.

Delighted with these wider leg trousers. They are so comfortable and the extra wideness is not too much for a 5'2" person to wear. They are very cosy in this colder weather, and the weight of the jersey makes them hang beautifully.

I returned these as they were 2 sizes too big. I ordered 4 different pairs of Starfish Pants that day. Two came in being what I expected but two came in way too big. Way Too Big. Not sure if anyone else has had this but I wish they'd fix their sizing so I can order the correct size.

I own several of the styles of these. I like them except NO POCKETS Why ? I don’t understand.

I love these trousers, so comfy to wear, and very smart too.

There is no pocket, the pants came up to my bra and past my shoes. Clown pants.

First off, I love the rhubarb color, so I'm hoping I can figure this out. The waistband was unexpectedly tight. Doable, even though it will flip in half while sitting, but not my preference. The hips are cut on a curve that probably wouldn't work for you if you are very straight-hipped. (They just worked for me on the high hip - I have straight high-hip and all my "hip" curve is in my upper thighs and behind). Speaking of the behind, this color does show the underwear lines and maybe a wee bit of cellulite. I'm not super bothered by people knowing I wear underwear, but you might be. I don't think you'd be able to tell in a darker color pant, but I like this color. Otherwise the pants are REALLY flattering, and are long enough (unwashed) for my height, wearing supportive flats* or even short heel. (*flats that don't raise you up any more than being barefoot would have the unwashed pants grazing the floor.) I'm probably going to order the next size up and see which fit I like better. If you wear a 10, these will be fine. If you wear a 12, it's going to be personal preference on how tight you like your waist.

I bought these pants because I love the Starfish comfort. They do not disappoint. They are very soft and comfortable and they wash and wear beautifully.
