I BUY THESE PANTS BECAUSE THEY FIT SO WELL. However, the black fades when washed and the length would be 1-2" longer for a tall.

I have been buying these for years and love them. Just the right cut for those who don’t like the legging look. The only thing that could be improved is the fiber content so the black don’t fade so quickly. That’s why only 4 stars.

Love the color but the ones I received were cut and sewn for someone with huge hips. I have many pairs of this pant and love them. I took these pants in myself. Shouldn’t have to do that.

I so wanted to keep these three pairs of pants but the stitching is defective, causing the fabric to wrinkle at the seams. Also, there was something like glue on one of the waistbands. This is the second time I had to return Starfish pants because of defective stitching. LandsEnd can't seem to resolve quality problems with this product. Why are they still in inventory? I have over the years purchased five pairs of Starfish pants and all of them, before this defective batch, were perfect. Is it a different manufacturer? Is there no inspection process? Sadly, I won't be ordering these pants again.

I've bought numerous pairs of these pants and wear them every day. They are very comfortable and look great. (I am 5' 1" and 110 lbs.) They wear well and I hope they are never discontinued!! They are casual but look good enough for dressing up. If putting in the dryer, the length will shrink about 1/2 - 1" which is perfect for me.

These women's Starfish slim leg pants fit perfectly since I followed the "size guide". I had to use the guide because I have lost 55 lbs. in the past year and I wasn't sure of what size to purchase. I had purchased other Starfish pants in the past (but a much larger size) and was always satisfied with those purchases.

Starfish slim leg pants have been my daily casual pants but the quality & cut has deteriorated over the past year or so. Pants I purchased a year ago had the strange “jodhpurs” cut and which I thought was corrected. Not so much. I recently purchased three pairs & compared them to my current Starfish pants. They’re about 1/4” bigger in the waist and keg bottom. Definitely not slim leg cut. I’m hoping LandsEnd will get this right as these are still my preferred everyday pants.

I have been wearing these pants for years. The quality at this point is unacceptable. No front zip pocket, thin material that does not maintain shape, and can see through to skin on knees while sitting, after a few washings. In the past, they were long lasting, high quality. I would pay more money for quality. Not a fan!

I've been buying these pants for years. I'm tall and thin and they work well for me if I wear a tunic top. I have found the hips to be too wide and the color that I usually buy, black, fades quickly though I wash all my black clothes with Woolite Dark. The reason I buy them despite the problems is that I can't find anything better for my height and weight. They look pretty good if you wear a tunic to cover the butt area. I'd be glad to pay a lot more for pants that fit me better and where the color didn't fade so quickly-- but I haven't found any substitutes. I basically wear them until color fades and then out in the garden or anywhere where I am not concerned about how they look.

I bought 1 pair each in size TALL medium in the moss green and burgundy colors. The moss green was 2” longer than the burgundy? I’m still keeping both pairs as I’m a seamstress and can shorten the green pair. Otherwise, the pants are both good quality and colors are beautiful.

I have some Starfish straight leg from a previous era (the current batch are HORRIBLE, baggy, ugly, no pockets - see my review of THEM). So I thought I'd try the slim leg. These are also HORRIBLE! Baggy, ugly. I don't know why LandsEnd quality has gone so badly downhill. I used to buy lots of clothes here. No more.
