A: Hi Pupcorn - This automatic waterer is great to ensure your pet doesn't have to go thirsty even when you're not home to replenish their water bowl! The water will always fill to a certain height on the bowl. As water is removed from the bowl, it refills to the point. This also prevents the bowl from overfilling. Featuring an anti-skid rubber base that helps prevents water from sloshing, we hope this makes the perfect fit for your furry friend! - MJ

A: Hello PMcMillen - You can remove the jug and cap from the plastic collar. Remove the cap from the bottle and dill with water. Replace the cap, and place the jug back onto the collar, by aligning the hole, and rocking into place until a click is heard. Thanks for reaching out to us. - Stacy

These are pretty bad, and quite pricey. There's no filtration, they're hard to refill compared to other models, and they leak. The base has 2 pieces which comes apart for cleaning? Bottle needs to be sat between 2 pieces that are not secure. They're just too much trouble to deal with

This was not what I would consider a large waterer and also water poured out of the sides when a dog drank. For 15 bucks this waterer was a disappointment. I never had water pour out of the sides when a dog drank.

The spring in it, sitting in water, is not stainless steel so it eventually rusts and breaks. The water still feeds like it’s supposed to, mostly, but over time it stops working.

I used to use a bowl for their water but it was constantly getting nasty with hair and dirt and I would have to refill constantly. This holds so much water I only have to refill once a week with my 5 pets.

Does what it says it does, but there’s SO many nooks and crevices where mold and bacteria grow. Thankfully, you can take it all apart to clean, but there’s certain areas that are difficult to clean. However, I would not recommend running this through the dishwasher. Does take it to the sink with hot water, dish soap, and a scrubber 1-2x/week and you should be good.

Our cat started getting a fairly severe case of cat acne due to the bacteria growth in the plastic. Even with running the bowl through the dishwasher the bacteria survived, all the light scratching the cat did on the bowl gave it a place to reside. We switched to stoneware bowls and his condition has started clearing up.

Agreed. It leaks all the time. I’m tired of it. I have a dish drying mat under it. It’s always soaked. I had to refill twice in one day. When are you guys fixing this problem? It’s been 2 years, I thought it was a defective one my first purchase, second purchase same problem.
