@cassieleigh.co lauvsongs released his sophomore album ‘all 4 nothing’ last week and I have notttt stopped listening to it! 💙🖤 I’m seeing him in concert for the second time in just 20 days and I couldn’t be more thrilled!! ⚡️I met Ari on his “I Met You When I Was 18” world tour and had a moment to express my love for his music— all of these years later and I’m still not sure how to put my admiration for his art into words. I’ve supported his music since 2015 and with every single, EP, playlist, and album release- I feel so understood. Lauv is thoroughly enamored by the human connection and this is evident throughout the album. In this project, Lauv writes from the perspective of his inner child as well as his current self. There is a fluidity to his vulnerability and it’s so raw it’s almost convicting. In just 38 minutes, Lauv poetically navigates topics like substance abuse, waves of existential thoughts, unwavering romance, inner-child contemplations, and acceptance of the loss of a love that didn’t fully serve him.
