This is the best smelling deodorant. Every time so wear it people ask what perfume it is because they love it. It lasts all day and doesn’t cause rashes like other ones do.

Rating purely on the scent- if you're looking for lemon or vanilla to be the forward scent in your Vanilla Lemon scented item, look elsewhere. This scent is AGGRESSIVELY floral. I'll keep sticking to the other aluminum free brands that actually smell like what they advertise.

I’m a big fan of citrus scents, especially for deodorant. I love the smell but unfortunately the protection doesn’t last but half the day.

2 stars purely for the smell. I wasn't sure what to expect from a vanilla lemon scent. I actually don't like vanilla scents, but this one surprised me. It's slightly sweet, not overpowering. I sweat profusely and this one just doesn't hold up. In fact, I think the more I apply the more I sweat. It doesn't last long on me at all.

Pretty bummed. I loved the smell, but it just doesn’t work! After a couple hours I smell worse than if I haven’t applied anything. It’s real rough and in the Nevada heat something that works well and doesn’t require reapplying right away is ideal.

Tried this for one week straight and have to give up. Only purchased it because the store was out of my usual. I actually love the smell (although would not guess it for lemon/vanilla) but like a few other people said, this somehow made my B.O. WORSE than not wearing anything! Will be going back to my other brand ASAP.

Love this deodorant. All natural and smells amazing

I love Lavanila frangrance and lotion so I decided to give their deodorant a try. It did not work for me. The fragrance was off-putting, more like a men’s scent, and it didn’t smell anything like lemon or vanilla but I decided to try it anyway to see if it would grow on me. Unfortunately, this deodorant somehow managed to make me smell worse than when I wear nothing at all! After a couple weeks of wear, it eventually got so bad that my husband had to whisper to me that I might want to go freshen up when we were at a family get-together. How humiliating! I gave up on Lavanila deodorant and decided to try Native deodorant in ‘coconut vanilla’. Native deodorant smells delicious and lasts all day long on me! I have no idea what causes the difference in these two natural deodorants but there’s no competition for me. Sad that I wasted $12 but lesson learned.

This deodorant is amazing . Stops odor and as I sweat I get a cooling feeling , something in the deodorant- what ever it is it works. No rash or sensitivities to this . Only thing is I wish it had a tad bit more lemon scent . Other than that , this is a keeper. Just try it already!

This item has a scratch and sniff sticker the smell is not of vanilla and lemon but seemed it would still be okay. Once open and used it is a horrible smell not even like the sticker. there is no lemon a hint of a vanilla with some very strong smell i can not identify. The product itself goes on smooth and creamy but the smell is unbearable, pungent, very overpowering, and does not fade away.

I’ve used this deodorant for a week to test out and this stuff is amazing! This is coming from someone who has struggled with horrible BO for YEARS. It doesn’t control sweat as efficiently, which I really don’t care about, So if that’s what you want you might not be satisfied, but it controls BO very well. I would normally have to wash my pits at least three times a day and reapply my deodorant but now I just wash them in the morning, glide on Lavanila and can go the whole day without washing/reapplying (unless I workout) My pregnancy also made my BO worse but Lavanila has not disappointed. I’ve tried sooooo many brands: conventional, natural, homemade remedies and nothing has worked. It was worth the $12 for sure.

I just read all the great reviews and realize I am the unlucky one. I haven’t smelled worse in my life. I finally found a natural deodorant brand that I was happy with, but I saw this and was like oh that sounds awesome I’d like to try something new. I smelled so bad a couple hours later after wearing it and I maybe did minimal sweating like a hot flash or something. I didn’t work out or anything. I just stink!! I tried it for a few more days & the same thing happened so I guess it just doesn’t work with my body chemistry at all! Sad though because it smells awesome!

I used this for two days, I actually really liked it. I didn't smell and I felt like I was fresh all day. But this morning I woke up with a rash under my armpits. Super bummed, I really wanted to like this product.

I am totally obsessed with Lavanila! All of the scents are fantastic. Target, you should also carry the vanilla blackberry deoderant! And their fragrance sprays - they are simply amazing! I just can't get enough of this brand!

I have always loved Lavanila's deodorants. They work great and always smell good. Usually lemon scented things smell fake and like a cleaner but this lemon deodorant smells bright and fresh like real lemon, not that fake smell.
