Lavish Home Microwave Stand with Drawer – Rolling Storage Cabinet with Doors and Locking Wheels

Took me 4 hours to put this cart together. I feel it could have been a little more sturdy overall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I seen this cabinet and seen it would fit my large microwave so I decided to get it. Upon arrival it came in a bland box but was very heavy. It is made of particle wood and laminate. It took a long time to assemble. Upon building the drawer box we realized we were sent 2 right sides and no lefts. We had to rig it to work. Also the doors have nothing to keep them from slamming shut when you close them. They are VERY loud when shut. It’s a nice concept but it’s very poorly thought out. Also was very disappointed in not getting the correct parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using this microwave stand has opened up space in my kitchen. I now have the microwave off the counter, and in a more accessible spot. The top shelf is nice, I am using it to display my cookbooks. The bottom shelves are great storage for small appliances like my egg and rice cookers. It was pretty simple to build, it took under an hour.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did appreciate everything being numbered or lettered for easy assembly. I did not care for the lock nuts in the assembly process, I do not feel like they will hold and keep the cart together and safe. I also did not care for the material that the bottom of the drawer is made of, almost a thick cardboard, and is flimsy. My drawer also had two left sides, which means the flimsy bottom doesn't have anywhere to slide into on one side, but I did make it to where the correct hardware fit it together otherwise. I also had a problem with damage on various pieces coming out of the box and when I would screw things in, the white coating was chipping off. Its also really short in size, the second shelf seems like a more comfortable height but I would not trust anything that heavy on the upper shelf. The cupboards on the bottom could hold more if the doors didn't open how they do. So although it looks decent looking at it, its not very functional, practical, or very sturdy.

I started slowly, only doing a little bit at a time, but after a week I gave up and asked my boyfriend to come over with a drill. Once he started putting it together it was done pretty quickly. I really like the way the island looks, but I decided to put it against the wall putting the microwave and toaster on top. I am very happy with the island despite it being so difficult to build. After it was completed I noticed a YouTube video showing how to build it! If only I would have seen it beforehand.

The drawer has so much space that all of the big utensils was able to fit and still have room. The cabinets has enough space also. I have my pans and paper towels in it. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of my favorite additions to my home! I am renovating an older house and unfortunately cabinet space is lacking in here. This island is on four wheels for easy movement around the kitchen/dining room as needed. The pull out drawer is large and fits all sizes of utensils! It has a towel rack on one end and a spice rack on the other. When you open the cabinet doors you will find an adjustable shelf inside for pots and pan storage. I am very happy with it!

It had some assembly required, but was very easy to do and the instructions were clear. It has wheels on it which makes it mobile to roll from area to area. The spice rack is a great touch, and I use it daily. And the upside is the extra storage it gives us We use the island to eat at as well as my chop and seasoning station. It truly added a whole new level to my prep for cooking. I highly recommend this island for it's versatility and style.
