Are you trying to die young?” If you’re thinking “hmm I haven’t read a Colleen Hoover in a while” but also “nah it’s spooky season and I’ve already read Verity” then you are me and I have a book for you 👻 I’m not even going to attempt to explain LAYLA because it’s just best to let it be a surprising ride BUT I will say it’s really nothing like anything else she’s written. It was wild and I read it in one sitting in less than 4 hours because I just needed to know what the heck was going on. Shout out to kaykaysbookshelf for listening to my play-by-play of thoughts and guesses during the experience 💀I was SO conflicted the entire time on my feelings toward Leeds but mainly I didn’t like him and then toward the end his actions end up kinda justified? But it still left an icky feeling in my stomach. So I still don’t know! It was weird but honestly I’m so here for it?? I was hooked from line one! I rated it 4⭐️s - I really liked it!! For what it was it was I loved it but not my favorite CoHo book! Go in with an open mind and you’ll probably enjoy it too! 💭If you’ve read it - Leeds, love him or hate him??
