Leading Lady The Marlene - Silky Front-Closure Comfort Bra

Marlene 40 DD/F/G. Fabric is pretty, comfortable and stretchy but does not support like the discontinued older model with the subtle animal print. I would like a little heavier fabric with more support. Eight hooks and eyes are great!

Fits well and looks good under clothing. Washes well.

I love the comfort and durability of the Marlene bra. I have worn them for 20 yrs. If I wear anything else my shoulders hurt intensely.

Lace trim is super rough and uncomfortable. Band not true to size

Good quality and material. Wish this came in an A/B cup with less hooks because nine hooks seems to be overkill for smaller cup size.

Stretch is what makes this bra SO comfortable - enough stretch for comfort, yet enough body to stay put and to be supportive. I wear it with all my casual clothes (my usual fare), but wouldn't wear it with a fitted sweater or similar. Although this is a front-closure bra, I leave it hooked and slip it on/off over my head. It has a lot of hooks, and it is easy to slip on/off because of the stretch. I measure a size 40, but I think size 42 fits best. My cup size is DD/E/F.

This is a really comfortable soft bra. It's pretty well made; the hooks stay closed, the elastic is gentle, and nothing digs or pinches. If you need a lot of support you might need to look elsewhere but this does a good job of accommodating different body shapes.

I now have four of them, two dark and two light-colored. The hooks are very small, though, so if you have problems with using your fingers, this bra might not be the best choice for you.

They are comfortable. and I go back to this style after trying something different.

It is easy on and off and comfortable to wear. I have worn underwire bras for decades but I am a senior now and those bras have become uncomfortable. The Marlene has what i was hoping for.

Supportive enough for casual situations but comfortable enough to sleep in. I'll be buying more.

I’m a 38D and have always worn underwire bras, but as I turn 60, I’m wanting comfort. I found it with the Marlene. There is not one single place on this bra that pokes or pinches, not a hook against my skin or a weird plastic thread that digs, as I have found with other bras. I have noticed less pain between my shoulder blades since I started wearing this bra, too. It is just pure comfort. It does not give the silhouette that a wired bra will give, but I don’t care. The front hooks are sturdy and easy to fasten, even with my shoulder issues. I now have one in every color but white, so I can’t say whether “parts” show through the white fabric. I highly recommend this bra for anyone who is fed up with uncomfortable bras, and also for those that have trouble fastening bras in the back or pulling over their heads. I love this bra. I was wearing another one, 100%cotton, from here, and found with the change in fabric I gained just a little more support. Perfect! I have only one complaint. The lace covering the eyes make it difficult to fasten since I'm recovering from a stroke and the hands are not so coordinated. It takes a bit longer to accomplish the job when I have to move the lace out of the way to get the hooks in the eyes.
