I had no idea I received a defective product with old leaky batteries in it. It did not work, and my 1 yr old granddaughter was disappointed her Christmas gift from Nana was “broken”.

The music player is awesome. Mine toddlers are obsessed with planets and I was able to record the planets songs. They have been carrying it around since I got it. Highly recommend it . Screen free fun a plus .

I bought this for a birthday gift for my 2 year old. He loves to sing and dance. I looked a variety of options and am so glad I bought this! There are lots of song options unlike the others. It's very easy to use. I was able to pair it to my phone in seconds and use it as a portable speaker too. We love it! The dial turns to 5 different categories which have 10 song options each.

I this item last year for about $17. It was a huge hit in my home and got a lot of use and eventually stopped working. The issue I’m having is 1 year later it’s almost $30!!!!?!!? I repurchased it because like I said it was a huge hit in my house but is target price gouging or is it inflation?

I hate this toy so much. We got it for our 20 month old son for a car ride recently because he loves music. The idea behind the toy is great, but the execution is terrible. Why would you have a giant Bluetooth button on the front of the toy where everytime you press it, it loudly shared a message about how to enter Bluetooth pairing mode?? Of course a toddler is going to repeatedly press this button!! It should have been a small switch on the side, whoever designed this clearly has never interacted with a toddler. Toy is terrible, our son just got frustrated and bored with it - the age range advertised is definitely not appropriate. Don’t bother buying this one.

We got this music player for our 18 month old for Christmas. It's a very cool toy for kids who love music. There's 4 music categories to choose from and 10 recording slots. We didn't know how to record over the slots, you can choose a number to record over once all the slots are full. They should have put this in the instructions. I'm thankful for the volume control. Design flaws are the Bluetooth button on the front, which my son hits nonstop not really understanding what it does and the on/off switch. The switch is on the side and can be difficult to do if you have short stubby fingers and no nails. I can do it no problem but the men in our family struggle with it. Overall it's a great toy despite the few things that could be improved.

5/5 on idea vs other things on the market, but 3.5/5 on how Vtech actually carried the ideas out. I love that this little player has so many songs my toddler can control on his. Being able to record some of his own put this far above other options. However the volume of the recordings is substantially lower than the rest of the music so you typically need to listen them on the highest volume then everything else at the lowest volume. It also only records in order for each of the 10 buttons so you're stuck with a practice, accidental, or just bad recording I'm guessing/hoping until you fill all 10 and replace any recordings that you have which gives you even more opportunities to mess them up. I'd much prefer using the record button then selecting where you want it to save. The Bluetooth button should be on the side because it's super inviting for toddlers to touch when they're listening to a song which immediately stops it, yes this should decrease with time, but causes an unnecessary frustration in the beginning. I also despise the random songs and information it plays when no one's using it to attempt to invite them to continue playing with it especially on the recording side because it's so much louder than the recordings. Other potential frustrations are it ships with demo mode on loud so it's very noticeable when you move it so be mindful of this if you're ordering a present. Also the first one received didn't play any music after demo mode was turned off despite trying multiple sets of batteries. So it was a rather disappointing present, luckily target replaced it quickly, but I want to note this incase it's a more common occurrence that needs to be corrected by Vtech. Overall I still would recommend the music player if you have a music lover, but it could be so much better if they possibly watched a 2 year old play with it first

My two yr old has loved this thing since the moment he unwrapped it. The Bluetooth and recording options are amazing. There’s also a headphone jack AND the volume is fully adjustable which is a huge win in kids toys. The quality of sound is better than I expected from a $30 kids toy. The preset music is also a hit with him. I would buy it again and again, it’s truly the cutest thing.

It’s a great toy for our daughter. it has many different settings and is very compact. Our biggest complaint is the location of the Bluetooth pairing button. It’s right next to the buttons you press for different music. She is constantly pressing the Bluetooth pairing button over and over and over again because it makes a sound. It’s driving us crazy.

This is the best toy we have ever gotten our son! I know that sounds dramatic but it has been a life saver. Our son loves music and this is so easy for him to use and it’s easy for us to record his favorite songs. Love love love.

My kids love it. I bought it for my toddler and predictably, my older daughter wants her own. Bluetooth connection was easy. Would highly recommend.

This toy is amazing! So many choices of music, relaxing/white noise, learning songs and you can record your voice too! Not to mention the Bluetooth works great and such a great extra to this toy! My daughter and son love it! Definitely worth every penny!

Purchased for autistic nephew (5 yrs old) who loves music and nursery rhymes. It’s easy to hold and carry, and simple to use. He hasn’t put it down since figuring it out.

My niece loves this. So cool how even we can use it for our music is u needed to lol
