Learning Resources Conversation Cubes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These have been great working with child clients as a get to know you, build rapport, or in dealing with dis engaged teens.

These cubes offer a great way to get conversations started. I used them with older students and they enjoyed them.

I've used these dice with my class twice before and I've just noticed that the lettering is rubbing off .This is very disappointing as the kids now can't read the conversation starters...

I thought they would be bigger. Still, great for encouraging conversations.

The conversation tool was used on an inpatient unit of the psychiatric ward. The patient enjoyed the cubes and wanted to continue with the group even after the timeframe for the group had ended. We use it at least once a week and always receive a hig level of participants. i would recommend the conversation tool as a group as well as an ice breaker for any event.

I use these in speech therapy with children of all ages, who are working on asking questions and topic maintenance. Nice variety of questions, personal (do you have any pets?) and hypothetical (if you were to travel to the moon, what would you bring).

A very good product. Small enough for the tiny hands to handle. Good conversation starters.

I use these cubes everyday with my speech and language pupils in foundation through to Year 2. I change the words accordingly. I use the. For EAL children to initiate conversation. I also use them with a literacy intervention group to enable them to think about their sentence structure in their head before they write.

I am a school-based speech language pathologist. I use these cubes when I want to engage a new referral or want my students to practice their target skills in conversation. Great for articulation, answering wh questions, fluency, expanding on personal narratives - just to name a few target skills.
