Very, very difficult to use and easy to break, even for adults.

These are brilliant for challenging my 2 6 years old girls. They can be hard to push together, even for me as an adult, but I suppose they do need to hold tight.
Good concept but doesn't stay together well

The pieces didn't connect very well and often fell apart. Made my kids frustrated.

I'm about to purchase my third package of geomakers. I have three kiddos (ages 7, 5, and 2.5) that all love playing with these. The older two can both follow the building instructions and ideas on the provided cards, but usually like to build their own creations. For our soon to be three year old of course its all free creation and play, but he has no trouble maneuvering and assembling the pieces (and attacking his siblings with the creatures he's created). They all like to make buildings, spiders, planets, etc. They come up with all kinds of things. We haven't had any issues with pieces breaking. We have another little one (still an infant) that I'm sure will enjoy them just as much once she's old enough to play with them. I anticipate them being a staple in my kid's homeschool and play for years to come.

Our kids loved these. But, the sticks broke off when trying to stick them into the balls. Sometimes the sticks don't stay connected

I like the idea I just think they need to come with more pieces. I also wished the pictures came in a cardstock paper . The paper ripped easy and had to throw it out .

1st rod my son used, immediately broke off in the ball. He was not playing rough, the tips just snap off really easily. He tried use the others but a few more snapped off. They are completely unusable now & my son is sad. Would not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8-year-old autistic son and 7 year old niece absolutely loved this product. Inside the box was a booklet showing different shapes to make so they were able to go through and replicate what the book was showing. The only downside was one box was not enough for both of them to make everything they wanted. So I would suggest at least a box per child. My four-year-old also loved it. He didn't so much follow the instructions, he just did free play and let his imagination go wild. This was a great product for our household and I will be looking into the other options that are available

Broken pieces not able to be removed. Then you have sharp edges on stick and ball. Maybe different material could be used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was fun and educational. The kids had to think about what pieces to use and how to build specific things. It can help with learning different shapes in 2D and 3D. The only bad thing is that the ends that fit into the holes broke pretty easily if you tried to make a shape that the pieces couldn't quite do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great educational product. My son loved it especially since he had just learned about 3D shapes. He loved making the shapes on his own. But once he'd make all the shapes he became a bit bored with it so he would make Ramos for his hot wheels. I think it's more of an educational manipulative but that's about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stem Geomaker was ok. Kids were for about an hour or so. The cons about this product is that the connecting arms that stick into the balls can break very easy. After about an hour of playing with it kids lost interest. Pros good idea of interactive building

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed eating this product. I really like the engineering quality of the product and people of all ages can enjoy this product. The only issue I've had with the product is that it should be more durable because one of the ends broke off into the balls when I took it apart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was originally ordered for my kiddos, but when it arrived my niece was here and she wouldn't put the box down. I decided to open it and let her play with it as I was only babysitting her for the day and she played with this pretty much the whole time! I have seen other toys similar to this, but the sticks in the middle are flimsy and don't hold up to building multiple things. I feel like this toy gets the creativeness flowing in kids, making them think what they can build next with it! It is very durable as well the balls are big enough they can't be swallowed, and the sticks are strong!
Fantastic

I purchased this for a five & seven year old and have regretted ever choosing the toy. In my opinion, it's nothing but worthless junk. You should be ashamed. One day of use and there are too many broken pieces to continue play. Customers, DO NOT buy this product!

I purchased this for my preschool class after looking at it for a few months. I had read that others had trouble with the rods breaking off in the balls, so I made a big deal about being very careful with them with my students. On our first time playing with it, two of the rods broke off in the balls. I don't think my students were being overly harsh with the set, it just seems to be lacking in quality. The rods are not very thick, so I could tell they would easily break. I love the concept of this set and the challenge cards that come with it, but just disappointed in the quality.
