[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fun, interactive toy. Whether a two year old just fills the pie or an older child differentiates by color and shape or counts the fruits, this toy is quite engaging. Sturdy design and complete storage unit are a big plus.

My daughter, 4 years old, loves playing with this sorting pie. There are many different options for how the fruit can be sorted to keep it interesting and get her thinking. The tweezers are a perfect size for her to hold and very sturdy, they are great for helping her with fine motor skills. It also inspires a lot of imaginary play, acting out cooking and serving food, inspiring a lot of conversations around those topics for discussion and learning. My 1 year old also loves getting involved and it's been really useful for helping her learn colours and starting her thinking about organising things in to different groups. She's starting to get the hang of the tweezers which is is great for developing her skills with her hands. This pie has come in really useful for homeschooling. We use it a lot when doing adding and subtracting in maths, it makes it easier to have a visual representation of the numbers and we can make it a fun story of creating and eating the pie. The different colours and shapes of fruit give an extra dimension to think about when sorting them for the sums. This toy is really well made and will withstand a lot of use. The bright colours make it really fun and the fruit and pie are very realistic is shape. I would definitely recommend this toy.

We've been having a lot of fun with our sorting pie. There are so many activities you can do with it thanks to the different insert cards. Sorting by colour, fruit type (which can be a challenge when there is more than one colour of each fruit type), and counting activities too. I just need to get my little one to persevere with using the tweezers. I know he can, he's just discovered it's easier to use his hands. Best of all, the pie fits right in with our play kitchen toys and adds an extra learning dimension to cooking up play food. For example, I have been requesting 'four-fruit pies', which my little cook heads to the kitchen to cook up. Or if I'm being a particularly fussy customer I will ask for a pie with only yellow and green fruits! The sorting pie is so well made, and I know it will last my (just) four year old for a good few years as yet, as we can use it to solve maths problems as well as for play.

Absolutely love this pie, loads of ways to sort using colour, shape or numbers. The tongs provided also help develop a child's hand /eye coordination. My son has had hours sorting, lining up and counting the fruits. Grouping in size and lining up in patterns. So many ways to use and easy to store away after play with the pie's lid.

Dottie really enjoyed using this product for home learning today. She learnt colours, numbers, fruits and sharing. She played with this in the morning and then asked to have it back out in the afternoon for more fun. Dottie also role played with this pie with her dollies and teddies having tea parties and baking fruit pies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I specifically bought this toy for my special need son. When comes to teaching him he tends to make slow progress. But with this toy, anything that is required of him to do, he does it with ease. He is beyond interested in this toy- which is really rare. It is sensory friendly, but one aspect that could improve is the tongs. In my opinion they aren't appropriate to grab the fruits with, otherwise, this toy is perfect.

The super sorting pie is a wonderful toy that combines math and fine motor skills in one fun activity. The pie crust holds the pieces while children sort them into the pie pan based on color, type of fruit, or number. The tweezers have depressed areas for little fingers making them easy to squeeze and work those finger muscles. Playing with this pie is so much fun they forget they're learning math skills!

my impression of the Sorting Pie. At first the general impression. These toys are definitely worth all their rewards. very high quality, the figures are quite solid, but they are comfortable to hold in a child's hand, they do not have sharp corners. In the set of 5 kinds of figures, each in two colors. A total of 60 fruits. Two pairs of big forceps, and of course, 3-piece liners, each two-sided. The package is written from the age of 3, but you can play it earlier, and certainly for a long time. Tasks of varying complexity, from the decomposition of the colors, to the number of pieces and shapes. my daughter was totally ecstatic about the pie. First, my daughter laid out one fruit, then poured everything together and laid out in separate cells, then turned over the task and laid out another set of fruits. In general, while this whole thing was happening, my mother even managed to cook dinner with TWO HANDS. 😂😂😂and at the end she laid out all the fruits, closed the cake and wanted to bake it on a toy plate🍱 in general we were both very pleased.

This game is known to our classroom as "lets make a pie"! My sweet class LOVES to make pie! The interchangeable place cards for the pie make this game very easy to adapt for all levels. There are many ways to seek learning opportunities while making pies with your child, student, or during therapy. Individuals are able to make choices, decide how many, what color, what fruit, etc. There are so many variations. This is my favorite thing about this game! I would highly recommend this game!

A surprise hit with preschoolers, who will sit for the longest time sorting from one side to the other. The tongs are the draw (would recommend getting a metal set, the plastic ones aren't as sturdy), and the lovely tactile quality of the fruit. Definitely choking hazard, so wouldn't use with the youngest set without supervision. I love that you can sort by color, by type of fruit, or by number. Our set has lasted eight months of daily continuous play in an institutional setting with only one broken tong.

I purchased this product to use with my children. As a teacher, I love that this toy is fun, but very educational. My older daughter can use the sorting pie with the sorting cards, like intended. My younger daughters love all the little pieces of fruit too and can sort them into colored sorting bowls. We keep this toy stored in the box on a shelf so we do not have to worry about keeping track of all the fruit.

My twin boys enjoy sorting the fruits. The tweezers seem a little too big for their hands, but I think it makes it a little more challenging for them and I like it. One of my boys is falling behind with his fine motor skills, his fingers are very weak. I purchased this toy in hope to strengthen his fingers and grip. He gets frustrated sometimes because his hands are so tiny and he has a very hard time picking up bananas and green beens, but I still keep incuriging him to try again. I don't keep this toy just laying around and I take it out to play 2-3 times a week in hope that they will not get bored with it too fast. We had this toy for may be 3 weeks or so and I already see that my boys got much better at picking up fruit and being able to hold it for a longer time. Very good toy to improve fine motor skills and strengthen the fingers.

I first saw this toy at a kids' group I take my 2 year old to. There were 4 or 5 kids all trying to play with it at once - they all loved it! So I decided to purchase this toy for my daughter. My two daughters and I enjoy playing with the pie together, sorting it in all sorts of ways. I like to use it with my 6 year old and get her to create patterns with the colours and types of fruit.
