A: Great question! We work with many parents who prefer not to swallow capsules! In these cases, you are able to open them and sprinkle the contents in a spoonful of applesauce or yogurt. It's best to not dilute them too much, but a spoonful works great! Be Legendairy!

I had a horrible clogged duct and it escalated super quickly so I ran to target to pick these up and on the fourth pill I took of the day (in the evening) I pumped and could tell the huge improvement. I’ll probably keep taking them as maintenance to prevent future clogs because OMG the pain was horrific. Even just being crazed on my breast hurt soooo bad.

Definitely works for clogged ducts, but made my baby SO unwell stomach wise. She had insane poops and was in clear discomfort. So, it is not worth it for me to take it, but it does exactly what it says it does. Just be aware it can cause tummy trouble!

I am so grateful that Target now carries this product in store! I am exclusively pumping for twins which equates to an enormous amount of milk per day. I am currently averaging ~70 oz per day and have successfully avoided bacterial mastitis twice while taking these capsules. They are large but not enormous compared to other supplements, and taste like nothing at all. They are a very easy pill to swallow, quite literally. I do have very gassy babies and this is a known side effect of lecithin in some babies. I have no idea whether this is causation or correlation at this point, but I am so prone to clogs that I can’t afford to play around with going on and off the supplement to see how it affects them. Their pediatrician agrees that if the lecithin will keep me able to provide breastmilk for them, it is well worth it. I truly recommend this product and don’t think I would have made it this far in my breastfeeding journey without it.

I have six children and have always had a bought of mastitis and every few months get clogged ducts. Finally with my last two babies I found this! This product has saved me from getting mastitis and helped me recover from mild bouts of it without having to go on antibiotics. I eat cloves of garlic, massage in hot shower if I have a more painful clogged duct but these pills have made a night and day difference for me! Thank you!!

I got this out of desperation. It helped relieve the clogged ducts I was experiencing HOWEVER it also gave my 3 month old horrible stomach issues. Excessive amounts of smelly green poops. This is the only change in my diet so I know this supplement is responsible for the change in his bowel movements.

I had a clogged duct for 3 days . I tried everything !! I was sure it would turn into mastitis . I was skeptical about Sunflower Lechtin but I took one pill in the evening and my clogged duct was clear in the morning . Breastfeeding was hard .. but my clogged duct was even harder to deal with.. I tried warm compresses/ shower.. hand expressing… warm water and epson salts… I would be in pain and did anything for hopefully the pain would eventually stop… Keep in mind that it doesn’t work immediately… it takes time.. but be CONSISTENT! Take pills with you if you need to work or if you are out for long periods of time … but IT WILL GET BETTER . I noticed that once I stopped taking it or once a day.. the pains did come back again.. but as soon as i start taking it consistently .. the pains go away and I start feeling better . ( not engorged and Milk flows easier ) I did noticed in the beginning my milk supply did drop and my milk was more “watery” But I didn’t have an issues supplementing formula if needed . If that’s an issue for you … just be aware it might happen ! It could of just been because of my stress or the fact that my milk was clogged . After almost finishing the 60 ct bottle … I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel… and I am supplementing less formula and my milk supply is getting back to normal! 10/10 would recommend

Room for 48 hours and my supply tanked. Makes milk watery to unclog ducts, which is understandable but I wish someone had told that to me before purchasing. Yes it helps with pains from clogged ducts and to not have them. (Remember that your milk has important fatty acids) The BIG HIT OR MISS I suppose is trying it yourself because for me—it certainly decreased my milk supply by a few oz. I tested the theory a week on and a day off; since for some it increases. I stopped taking it for one day and bam! My milk was back! I needed the extra ounces for my baby so I can’t afford to take it. This is a great product IF you’re willing to test it.

I exclusively breastfeed but am currently on a five day work trip away from my 5 month old baby. I've been pumping in place of feedings but working around meetings had made it hard to do it right on time. This helped relieve clogs quickly, which was fantastic, but unfortunately, my baby seemed to have an upset stomach and became very fussy after I had taken them. She began spitting up like she never had before and was going to the bathroom nonstop. She is generally pretty easy going but cried nonstop (presumably from her belly hurting?) until we started giving her milk from my back stock that pumped before I used the supplement. Definitely recommend to relieve clogged ducts though as this was just my experience with my baby
