Purchased this for a fire year old grandson who dad never built Lego before. He loved it. I gave him parts and showed him the pictures and he built the car himself. He came away with a great sense of accomplishment and hasn’t stopped playing with the mini figures since he received this first Lego set. Cannot recommend Lego enough for anyone. I enjoy adult sets and am happy to share this hobby with my children and grandchildren.

My 6 year old grandson sat down and put this together with little help and was so proud of himself. The instructions were relatively easy for him to understand, although we did need to work on orientation of the piece with new bricks.

Not only are they a learning tool but help kids use their imagination on how to put it together with the help of a parent. Excellent source of solving things. Not only are they fun to put together but legos are cool once put all together. They are actually a learning tool to help kids and thats what I like about legos. Once it's complete add to your lego collection. Would definitely recommend this race car.

She had a great time following the easy to read instructions. I believe assembling Legos are a great way for your grandchildren to learn patience

I like that it is a focused product so it’s not overwhelming for kids just getting into the smaller Lego pieces. It has a very detailed and simple to follow set of instructions which was very handy. My son had a great time putting this race car together with me and patiently followed each of the steps to get the complete car. The set comes with two Lego people as well as a couple accessories which ties the whole theme together. Overall I like the concept of these small kits for kids.

A lot of the other sets are just a bit out of his comfort level, but this one is just perfect. He can complete this with just a little bit of guidance and doesn't get overwhelmed by the amount of pieces. Cherry on the top is he loves that the finished race car and runs around the house playing with it. Perfect set for younger children.
