[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can honestly say as a 45 year old man this Lego set brought me back to my childhood! The assembly was easy and the directions were amazing! All the parts came in their own bag which was cool if you have kids! I will display this with pride!

It was really straightforward to assemble in the sense that it wasn’t overly fiddly, but presented enough of a challenge for him to remain engaged throughout. We also loved the fact that he was able to use the truck (albeit carefully) once it was constructed. Some of the pieces are small, but since it’s 6+ I wasn’t that worried about him accidentally swallowing anything, but beware of rogue Lego on the ground!

Half of bag 1, the steps are mixed up. It goes from 1-2-3-27 and so on. This is why I use the app. A few years back I suggested to do a 3-D rendering of the pieces and have the builder be able to touch the screen and move the pieces around in a 360-degree left to right and up and down. It makes it easier to build, because some of the pictures are hard to make out where a piece goes, especially the small ones. So much easier to build now with the app.

The wheels move smoothly, and the overall build feels sturdy. Our family does a lot of off-roading and nature adventures, so this was really fun for the family to mimic some of our excursions. This set is perfect for kids (or even adults like me who enjoy a quick, relaxing build). It's versatile enough to be added to other LEGO City sets o r used as a base for modifications with other LEGO sets. The durability is also remarkable; the truck is built to withstand frequent handling by kids without falling apart. One thing to note is that the packaging can be difficult for kids to open. While I appreciate that it's glued shut for security, if you want to reuse the box for storage, it's best to have an adult open it carefully. Overall, it's a great choice for anyone looking for a fun and durable LEGO set.

It’s Lego it sells itself! I would buy in future as there is lots of choice when it comes to Lego! The Lego is strong and builds a firm structure to turn into a toy! Not recommended to young children because of the size of pieces! This is stated on box!

I had a lot of fun putting this together with my son. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The blocks all fit well together and stay in place. My son had a lot of fun playing with the car and using it as an addition to his other Lego sets.

As an adult fan I find building Lego very relaxing and mindful but I also want to build something cool. This is ticks all the boxes. The finished model is great looking and the winch, printed tiles, such as the compass, and accessories make for a lot of play opportunities. A fun build, plenty of accessories and cool looking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great easy to open packaging, super easy instructions my son built it within 30 minutes and didn’t need any help. Amazing details the design is amazing and you can tell it’s well built. Great little toy wheels move perfectly, has a little tow cable which works the lid to the engine even lifts up. My son loves it can’t go wrong with a bit of Lego! Perfect!

Ill be modifying this set some what for addition to my snowy Christmas village(someones gotta pull Santa out of the snow drift :-). Won't be using stickers, will replace red stripes with green and possible replacing roof with white to mimic old style land rovers.

Really neat truck for the city lineup. Cool feature with the flip up hood as well. Maybe Lego can add a roof top tent next time 😂

I have a feeling this will be a pretty popular set. The build was nice, but the final result blew me away. Highly recommended!!
