Q: if the table top is too small for the the baseplate, how do you recommend Downsizing the plate? And how do you recommend securing it to a tabletop?

A: I would suggest purchasing a different sized baseplate. Each color is a different size.

I like this product. Its very sturdy. The building potential is limitless. It would be very useful for star wars mocs. I'm glad they didn't include minifigs in this, it would have just driven up the cost. I would recommend.

I made a lego table for my son with 4 of these and (2) 2 cube organizers by brightroom, also target. These baseplates say just over 13" square. So there was a bit of overhang on the edges of the cube organizer. But a quick YouTube video showed me how to easily cut the baseplate straight. I am however irritated I could not find the exact measurements for the baseplates.

Because of their size they're thinner than the normal baseplates that come in the sets. This means they're not as strong and will bend under lego weight. They are perfect for lego tables and attaching to the wall for vertical builds.

This is bigger than the other base plates we have. I purchased online and didn’t realize they had other sizes. Just pay attention to the description. It’s great, though! Just a bit more difficult to store at its larger size.

We been getting into lego and lego free build, so i wanted something that we can build on. Most of the other baseplates tho the color are more colorful i gotten the gray because its the biggest baseplate and good for a courtyard with a fire pit and a castle. The pro: Its size Its value( on sale) Con: Still feel like the material is on the thin side unlike the duplo baseplate the material is stiffer.
