My second 3-in-1 and I thought this was a fantastic set, at the price it's affordable to all and each of the creatures looks great. I've built all 3 and my only previous 3-in-1 had one underwhelming figure, quite the opposite here; whilst the snake is simpler than the other 2 i still enjoyed both the build and the outcome. If I could i'd give value-for-money more than 5! I even named the creatures, Horace, Horatio and Horus (spider, scorpion and snake)! I've rebuilt as the spider (Horace) for now, but the scorpion would also be welcome on the shelf long-term.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These particular lego sets where you can make more then one creation are so much fun and such a good idea, Me and my son had lots of fun making the spider then recreating the scorpion once we'd had fun with the spider, Lego brand always has quality easy to fit sturdy pieces in my opinion, Id recommend these sets to kids who like to create and may get bored easily.

This build was not challenging at all, which is nice. The string mechanic was a neat intro for earlier builders trying to learn something new. I was a little disappointed in the simplicity of the build. It felt like the main body should have been a little beefier. Also, the feet/legs seemed overily simplified. I've built many of the other animal 3 in 1 sets, and they had better builds. I just wished the lower portion was a solid as the hind quarters. I don't like building the other options as they don't usually use all of the pieces, so it's easy to lose the ones you leave out if you ever decide to try another build. It is nice; however, if you don't like the promoted build, but one of the other options.

We absolutely adore Lego in this household so it didn’t take long for us to tear into this! My daughter decided to build the snake as it was the most appealing to her - that’s the amazing thing with these sets - there is 3 build options! It didn’t take long at all to put together so I think the age range is definitely well suited! The colours in this build are fantastic - so vibrant and they scream “DANGER!” due to these fantastic, albeit usually poisonous, critters! The instructions were very useful and easy to follow. We love the creator range, it’s so much fun and we love doing new builds so this will be a great addition to the shelf!

Incredible arthropod builds (and snake of course!!). Would love to see more of this kind of thing from LEGO. Fun to build, silk-shooting mechanism is simple and effective. Love the use of the neon yellow color. Amazing!
