We are a household of Lego fans. This set was purchased for my daughter who is a fan of not only Lego but all of the despicable me films. Given this is the house, I just feel they have really missed an opportunity here to have an impressive set. Over the films, Grus house is seen in many aspects and so to basically incorporate so little of the many features, I feel lets Lego down and that’s not something I say lightly as I am invariably always very happy with the Lego sets. When I consider the cost of the set against what you get when you consider the house in the films, I do not feel this set provides good value for money. Again, that is not something I say lightly. We have collectively, thousands of pounds worth of Lego sets and this is probably the only one I’ve ever felt somewhat deflated by. That said, it was for my daughter and she likes it.

I especially love the Mega Minions and Gru Jr.! Assembly isn’t too difficult, rated 8+, so this set is a great solo or family activity.

My youngest is obsessed with Legos and she started building ot right away. She got the Minions mansion and it is easy to build the instructions are easy to follow you just need time to build it. I would recommend this for someone over 8 because it does have a few tricky parts. I am so glad I was able to get this set. Thank you Influenster 😊 🙏 💓
