A: Hi there! LEGO® DUPLO® bricks are made from a high-quality plastic called ABS. We don't use any PVC to make sure that no phthalates are used in our products. While Bisphenol A (BPA) is used to make polycarbonate plastic for certain bricks, it must pass a series of rigorous safety tests, including simulating what happens if our toys are in contact with saliva and sweat for a long time. Really bad, the only thing good is are the sizes. Duplo disconnects easily and creating meltdowns for toddlers due to frustrations.

My grandchildren spent nearly an hour at Legoland’s Duplos station building things so we bought two of these base sets to continue their creativity at home. True Lego brand blocks cost more than lower quality knockoffs but they last forever. With a Red Card discount, these were cheaper than other online retailers.

This has been a huge hit with my 14 month old. He’s not at a stage yet to build with these himself but they were a fantastic introduction to building. We have Lego sets on our living room shelves that he is very interested in so this gave him legos that were safe for him to play with. Right.now it’s mostly mom and dad making towers and structures for him to take apart. But after a few weeks of play he’s starting to try and put them together. So this has been fantastic for building motor skills as well. Some of the pieces I could have done without like the loaves of bread.

I saw this same one on the floor a day before and I didn’t get it because I’m buying it as a present for someone else. I ordered for drive up because online it said it had 3 in stock and said I had my own bag but they brought this in a bag as a way to hide it until I drove away.

Excellent variety of colors and shapes. Our 2-year-old loves it and has quickly integrated these blocks into his two other small sets. He was especially excited to get colors that he hadn't had before (orange! pink! aqua! etc). The bread piece is a little weird haha but it's all an extremely cute set. Very good for making towers. Would be great standalone or as an expansion to existing sets. I also love the storage box.
