A fun Lego set that our 5 yr old was able to put together and be excited about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited to play with this set. She likes the new Friends line, especially the animals. She absolutely adores all of the animal figures that are in this set, but her favorite was undoubtedly the grumpy chubby cat, Churro. The idea of the set is great - it’s an accessories store for pets! The only way to make the animals cuter is to add bows and hats, and this sets has a ton to choose from. You get a birthday hat, top hat, ball cap, and a chef hat! Lego sets are so good for imaginative play, and the theme of this set lends itself to creativity because it’s easy to add in other characters, animals, or sets to make a city or extend the story.

He's about to turn 5 and although this set is suggested for 6+, I find it age appropriate for him, he just needed little help building it. The instructions are clear and simple just like with any lego.

The bright colors make it easy to find loose pieces. There are small pieces that I think this should be kept away from small children as a choking hazard

So many different ways to play with it and easy step by step to put together. Fun colors! The design is so neat with the dogs face very perfect for her little hands.

Small pieces are not suitable for kids under 5. By building this shop you can open your mind and creativity. Not too expensive as for so many pieces.

This build is straightforward using the enclosed instructions, or the online 3D app. My 7 years old daughter find it easy to assembly together but we did it together as a fun activity. I think it's a great introductory set for kids who haven't used Lego before, or as a great addition to existing sets. This set is very well designed, and there is plenty to play with once built with 3 characters and 3 pets. Use the lift to the top floor grooming station and wash and dry your pets in a pamper session. The fun is all in the imagination and it certainly has kept us busy here for several hours. I really like the style of Lego Friends, it's nice and engaging. This set may seem small, but it contains a lot and is excellent value and everything was really well packed and instructions easy to follow. I highly recommend it.
