This was so fun to assemble. There's a fun nod to sonic adventure 2 when building the master emerald.

It’s lots of fun, but the robot part of the Lego falls over a lot and it’s very frustrating for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved this lego set. He is 5.5 years old and was able to mostly put it together himself. Of course I didn't get a picture before his little brother broke it. It was fun for him though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lego kits are always a huge hit in our home. This set from the Sonic franchise was especially fun because it was so nostalgic! My husband grew up playing Sonic video games, and I loved watching him play when we were younger. I also feel like Lego never misses with their instructions. They’re always easy and clear to understand. 100% recommend for kids and adults!
Love this! Super fun, easy project, and very cool looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My seven-year-old son and I love doing Lego together! We’re also big fans of Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails! This kit was easy and fun, and a great addition to our collection. It’s durable, and fun to create and play with. I love the design, and I love that we can use these along with the other sets we’ve made, although I do like putting them on display lol. We recommend! :)

Knuckles mech vs. Sonic mech one day?

8th build of 2024. First of all, I'm very excited that there are more and more Sonic characters being introduced in LEGO form, with the additions of Shadow and Knuckles this year. The build felt like a larger version of the smaller (Marvel/Star Wars) mech build, I like how the hands are shaped/build like knuckles, and Knuckles minifigure is very detailed and I especially like the 'glove' element/brick he's holding/wearing. I was really hoping the mech arms are able to move closer so the knuckles can tap/touch one another like he's getting ready to battle. I also feel upper body is well structured whereas lower body seems 'light' and 'unfinished'. Will we eventually see a Sonic mech so we can have an epic battle between Dr. Eggman robot, Knuckles mech, and Sonic mech? NOTE: what would it take to receive complimentary product for my 6 y/o daughter to keep on building ;) she really enjoys building and as you can see, this is her 8th build of the year and she likes to keep on going

I would have loved this as a kid and I'm glad to have it now. I hope Lego does more sets based on video games and not just the ones they have done already!

Rouge and Knuckles are definitely the highlights of this set for me. It is pretty crazy that we finally have them as LEGO Minifigures. However, pretty much everything else in the set is not super crazy. Rouge's glider is a little basic with the only cool thing about it being the ability to pick up the Master Emerald from beneath. Then Knuckles' Mech looks sort of cool and the LEGO shoes are a nice touch. But I can't help but wish that the mech had joints in the knees and elbows. Without these joints, the mech feels a bit too stiff to play with. It looks great but those joints would have been nice. Overall, this set is cool but it could have been better. We did not need another mech and I would have much preferred an Altar of Emerald with the same minifigures and Rouge's glider. But as it is, it's a nice set that, although a bit out of left field, is fit for any Sonic or LEGO fan, which I suppose is what matters in the end.
